Most RV couches come apart to fit thru the door. You can remove the arms to make it easier. On a jackknife sofa you lay it down into a bed, turn it sideways and carry it out. On a hide a bed you remove cushions and mattress, tie the mechanism shut so it doesn't open and remove the back making it easier to get out thru the door

How did you get the couch out of the RV? did it fit through the door???
