This is great. I love your tone, and playing is absolutely spot on for me! Regardless of technicalities and roughness, its all about the feel and vibe of a good performance. 2 thumbs up, im jealous! Hope things have come along with your solo album. Best of luck
Nice playing and tone! Did you wire this up like the Timmons guitar with two volumes and master tone? Are you using a treble bleed? If so what values? You should put some more videos up!
Very nice. I love my Roadster head as well. One day I'll get a strat similar to yours, and get that Dimarzio Andy Timmons setup. I'm just wondering if I should get a 250k or 500k pot...
Very nice performance. Just curious...if you put DP187 Cruisers in both the neck and middle, how to those positions still sound different? Need to understand because I'm planning on buying a set of DiMarzio AT's to be installed in my guitar, so I want to be sure I know what I'm doing! Thanks
Hey Drew:-) Nice playing there! I am actually considering installing an Andy Timmons setup of PUs in my guitar, but I cant really figure out what to put in the middle position. It seems that you can only get a neck and bridge cruiser, but no mid. I can see from the description, that you installed a bridge in both the neck and mid position. Does it work well for you and do you get a different sound with two similar pickups?
Very good playing and i love the AT-1's tone! I am surprised there is not more vids of that dimarzio here on youtube? what other bridge pu's have you tried in that strat?
wow, that was really great, I was just looking to hear the AT-1 but I really enjoyed that, listened to the whole thing! But, speaking of the AT-1, I love the lead sound of it, but I've heard it can get loose/muddy on lower rhythm stuff... what's your take?
hello Mate, Yourp playing is awesome. I like the sound of the neck pup especially. Did you use the standard tone pots or did you change them for the 500k pots. cheers.
nice song, nice sounds, nice axe. And very cool pickup switching, I noted you changed many times during the song, and always sound pefect for the phrasing, the accents and everything else... you know how to make good sounds with your instrument, congrats bro
@drewpeterson7Good the song is very beautiful I suggest to record at the ASCAP because if Timmons listen the song he snatch it to you. just kidding compliments and thanks for answered
@kissmyaxx -They're really criminally underrated amps for stuff other than the heavier sounds Rectos have always been associated with. If it helps, there's a bit of info on my settings in the description, and on the lead channel I usually run the gain around 1-ish, mids about the same or a little higher, treble 11-12 o'clock, and the bass most to all the way off.
@ludasaan Thanks man! I'm working on an album that a version of this will be on, and I'll probably post a few more videos as I work. And yeah, I absolutely love this amp.
Really really digging your tone man.....tasty playing too.

Dam those are awesome sounding pickups. Awesome guitarist as well. Got any clue on how the Andy Timmons pickup would sound on a Les Paul.

are the cruisers humbuckers or hum cancelling singles?
ottozing 10 months ago
@ottozing humbuckers that fit in a single coil slot. but they are 2 coils side by side...with blade magnets rather than pole pieces.
