Actually these old aircraft use dry ice as part of there air conditioning system. I had to ask on one of my flight there. I thought it was someone smoking but they explained how that part of the system worked.

thanks for the info. It makes sense. I knew it wasnt cigarette smoke, it didn't smell like that.

By the way, I didn't say anything about F/As or their being well trained or not.

Just a traveler who noticed something I hadn't in any other previous airline.

Wow, im so glad Cubana F/As have safety as their top priority. I love F/As but there are some out their that complain about being treated as an airborne waiter when they're there for our safety. But its people like this who give F/As a bad image.
