Why don't you just use the magic eraser tool to create the white bg to transparent? Do you have that tool(right click erasers)? All you have to do is click the white and it becomes transparent. Sorry if you don't want advice, just thought I'd let you know...
@kunorulez , I'm sure you could find some tutorials on the web if you look, and if not, I don't think CS3 could be THAT much different, the basic idea and concepts will be the same, just the details will alter..

@darlingmyo Hmm, well, see, I learn too. >.<
But there's still an issue when what you're debackgrounding has just a thin outline between the background and some white on what you want to save...
But thanks. ;p

@kezzoa yeah that's why you have to adjust the #. It will be on the horizontal bar. it usually says 23.

What was that program when you selected the photos from the internet? And it seems basically just copied them into photoshop?
lonewolvestear 2 years ago
@lonewolvestear It's the snipping tool that comes with Vista.

I'm not sure what you mean, can you be more specific?
Buuut, the way I make stuff, I put everything on it's own layer, and then you just use the layer toolbox to select the layer you want.
To select something on a layer, you can use the select tool (looks like a dashed line box, on the top of the tool box)
Hope that helps...
