The only thing that sounded funny to me was how the way every ending note never was held; hold the notes out. The chords were very nice, some funny intonation parts, but its really nice. Also keep the vowels open and more bright to support the pitch and to keep it from sagging.
You were fooled, we didn't lip synch, that's ridiculous. It was a really good camera, which is why the sound quality is good. I haven't heard the UW Madhatters, although TW knows what he's talking about with anything musical at all, but we aren't them, or weren't them, I should say, since this was the fall before last.
I'm singing this song for solo and ensemble, and you guys have really helped me learn it. Not only that, but you've done such a wonderful job. Thank you for keeping this song's integrity and for doing something so beautiful, which is a rare blessing now-a-days;)
I stumbled across this when I was listening to other choirs attempt this song. You guys really stuck to the message and feel of the song that Bestor and Klouse intended, as opposed to others. Honestly, that was the best performance after Luther's Nordic choir. I'm dead serious. As for the comment about more bass, many vid cam mics pickup more upper than lower levels. The balance was very good. It's a shame this is still relatively undiscovered on Youtube. You guys should be very proud.
I think you guys do a realy good job of it my choir did this song last year and I think it sounded realy good. you need just alittle bit more bass but other than that it was realy good
In my high school choir, we had 9 people singing the boy parts. If 8 of them were you guys, I think we would have been a lot better/balanced. I'm very impressed.
I think you boys sound great!I pray you guys will help any child who needs help and pray to the Lord each day and live for the lord .

LOL nice lip sync to the UW Madhatters singing of "Prayer of the Children." If I didn't have a good ear, I would have been fooled. :)

This sounds nothing like the Madhatters! The Madhatters have a much brighter/nasal sound...
