  • "I just get wet wet wet".

    -thats what she said.

  • i live in wisconsin and at most i can ride from mid april to late november... and thats if we dont get snow in november and it melts in april. im 17 and the main reason i have a motorcycle is because i love to ride and its good on gas. in the summer i only wear a helmet and a back brace, shorts, shoes and a tshirt. I also have a truck tho so thats pretty good. im rockin the 250r too!

  • At least we don't have the problem of being too hot here in Finland :D But I think I'd rather have +40 than -30.

  • get some rain gear, it works and it's not too expensive

  • Yeah, I'm a Finn and I love riding, but the season isn't the whole year... about 3-4 months every year is too cold to ride :/

  • i really want to do a remix of the with a wet wet wet some :P

  • hi blinky i am i geting a bike soon and i am think of geting a ninja 250r for my fast bike what do u think?

  • @timejamie Do it!

  • @timejamie Blinky approves, enough said. =)

  • why would you be grocery shopping? ur girlfriend should be doin that... but then again i guess you dont want her leaving the kitchen

  • step 1: get a girlfriend with a car

    step 2: get a motorcycle

  • @YOEL3

    Step 1: get a motorcycle.

Step 2: get a girlfriend with another motorcycle and borrow her parents' car.

    Look, four wheels!

  • @YOEL3 But thats tragic when the wife if driving and your in the passenger seat

  • @YOEL3 thats was ive done ahh

  • well, you *can*ride in the snow, but you'd have to be literally insane if your not legally allowed to stud your tyres...even then

shorts? checkout rock the gear .org it may change your mind on gear

  • You have no idea how far I would go to own a Ninja 250r....

  • @TheCrazymook haha, i swear am buying one in like 4 hours....=D am cool..no jk..but yeh... i heard from like pros that ninja 250 is an AWESOME bike....good luck..

  • @TheCrazymook You mean, you'd go as far to buy one?!

  • @DeanoXP Thats crazy, but it would probably be worth it!

  • snowmobiles lol

  • I only own a motorcycle as well and I couldn't agree more. It's bittersweet. Great vid!

  • snow sucks!!! i can ride my bike only for like 6-7 months.... :(

  • You can't go get groceries because you ride a 250 ninja, a dual sport could pack 50 kilos or so no problem, and a passenger ;)

  • Wanna learn how to ride effectively in the rain? Move to England we get it like every other day :P

  • @Haydn2613 yeah, but i still cant ride in snow or ice!!! :D but living in england is eventfull for being on a bike

  • lookup some luggage and racks, good breathable waterproof gear and put a bit more of money to get way better n lighter textile gear for hot and cold wheater, not 100$ crap that make you miserable.

  • Why there' s no sit belts on the bikes?

  • @sheissooocute

would be too much of a hazard, imagine getting hit on a bike and being forced to stay seated, that wouldnt end well

  • @sheissooocute that would be 392873549726 times more dangerous...

  • @sheissooocute coz when its flinging through the air the last thing you want is to be tied to the freaking thing!!

  • I enjoy watching you ride. I'm not allowed to drive my scooter at the moment because of health issues, so to watch your riding takes me back to when I could ride. There's nothing quite like it. Better than being in a car most times, even if there are weather conditions to consider and the danger element.

  • at the :20 mark, what the hell kind of car/truck was that!?

  • @smokydaburr Vauxhall

  • @smokydaburr LOL, that car/truck is a 'ute' ... in AUS thats pretty much the standard, not many 'trucks' This one here is either a V6 or a V8, plenty of power... pretty much they are like your sedan cars, but with only 2 seats and the back half is like a truck... so you are pretty accurate with saying "car/truck" If you want an example of the power of this ute, search for 've sv8 ute' or 'hsv maloo '

  • lol @ 6:58 random water on road and sun shining????????????? thats that blue pill shit ur seeing right there haha

  • It's true what you say about cars not caring / looking for you (unless they're a motorcyclist themself.

I hate riding in the summer time and the freezing cold or being stuck in traffic

I'm one of the ones who uses the car daily and sometimes gets to ride on the weekends if I have time (If I'm not making more videos for youtube LOL)

  • If "Rocking Motorcycle Musos from the Future" wasn't an 80s cartoon, it damn well should have been :-P

  • LOL "Or parents who love them heaps"

  • I'm planning on getting a motorcycle in england, now as you should know it rains... a lot here, so my question is, how bad is it to ride in the rain, with waterproofs on?

  • @TheDeadlyNote I have a waterproof jacket that does it's job with aplomb. Invest in some waterproof gloves, which don't cost much more than non-waterproof ones, and maybe some waterproof boots. You'll be just fine.

  • @dustysquito what about chill factor? in terms of cold and whatever?

also i'm kind of worried about if i go to college or work with all this on, would you advice storing it in the bike itself or carrying it with me?

  • @TheDeadlyNote As far as chill factor goes, most everything that comes with a waterproof liner, also comes with an insulated liner that keeps you warm and keeps the windchill at bay. You definitely want to look into glove liners for the extra cold days, and you'll want something you can wrap around your neck like a balaclava or scarf. Your neck and hands is where you'll feel it the most. As for storage, a good tank bag and some cheap saddlebags were one of the best investments I ever made.

  • @dustysquito okay, thanks for all your help i will defo look into getting some sort of tabnk or saddle bags they'd be damn useful for college stuff to.

  • I'm 26 & have only ever owned motorcycles! I drive cars, but I absolutely despise doing so.

  • love ur vids ! upload more

  • Was that white car or truck a Holden because on Forza Motorsport3 they have that

  • you should do a video on how to ride smart!

  • theres sattle bags for sports bikes that u can get i have some for my 2006 cbr f4i 600

  • wow... dude! You are the Australian version of me... I play guitar and I'm getting a ninja soon!

  • You use the "caw"? lol Australian accents are funny, but awesome :P

  • Haha it's normal for us in Canada to put the motorcycle away in Winter!

  • @gabbb75 yeah seriously :(

  • What he says is true for ALL PARTS of the world. Even countries where Biking is more common than driving a car. Drivers of Cars will always see themselves as invincible and not give 2 shits for any motorcyclist on the road. Here in the U.S.A its the same, For somereason over the years motorcycling has taken a back seat. To all other forms of personal transportation, now grant it, motorcycling is making a resurgence but, drivers in the U.S are still blind idiots and don't safely check for bikers

  • do you guys also have a learner, restricted and full license system in australia?

  • @DeeJay33133 yes Learners then we have Provisional Green and Red... then full license

  • windy weather?

  • Thats outta control at 2:21  i couldnt stop laughing but yes in chicago you cant ride it gets really nasty with all the snow and ice you gotta take the bus lol.

  • keep replaying from 1:20 to 1:24

  • Lol it only took a month to find some cons.

  • I often find it refreshing to ride without gloves for some reason :S I only really wear them if it's cold haha, stay safe brother

  • No such thing as bad weather just bad gear ಠ_ಠ

  • welcome to owning a motorcycle in Canada. But I can't complain, I love snowboarding

  • "Why oh why didn't i take the blue pill!!?" lol good one

  • Cool video, would you every let's your gf ride your baby?

  • in NJ, people aren't aware of a bike so i don't ride one though i want to. some old lady will hit you and kill you.

  • ahaha blinky your my hero man, my gf has a car and now im buying a bike this week!

  • you spend alot of time on the bike does your gf ever see you? haha

  • you live in Australia your lucky, I live in Canada you just can't ride in the winter, there is one guy that has a video of him riding in the snow but i think he's nuts

  • You forgot the con of having to take your helmet off everytime you go shopping or filling up the petrol and having to carry your helmet every where with you - if you don't have a helmet lock on your bike.

  • Great advice, Get a girlfirend that has a car thnx blinkycab

  • I live in Norway , its fucked :(

  • "In my pants...I just get wet wet wet." hahaha

  • Just in time, I just started looking into purchasing a bike. I made up my mind, I'M GETTING ONE!

  • Comment removed

  • What guitar and amp did you get?

I got a Fender Standard Strat and a Orange amp..pretty snazzy..now only if I could play the damn thing.

  • @ 1:21 #thatswhatshesaid

  • What type of car is that @5:08 ? Looks like an Opel Corsa. I don't know if you have Opel over there. Usually Opel is Holden in Australia.

  • @jakeroswell he is in australia

  • @LolToalNoobs That's why I ask. Chances are that it IS an Opel.

  • I'm getting a new Ninja 250 in the next week or two and have a shitty old ford falcon, so I'm set! haha. My falcon was a cheapo so it's not worth trading in, otherwise it'd be gone! I'd just steal my old man's diesel when in need :P

  • hi blinky,Ihave just updated pov 1.5 to pov hd.I love the hd but ,i cant seem to get the sound right.Have you done any thing ,because your sound is very clear .What settings are you using.Let me know thanks stevosid [aussie]

  • Hey blinky i watched your videos end of last year turned 18 in april and i covinced my parents to get my bike license and a Kawasaki ninja! you +m13 are a good inspiration espically because your Australian keep it up!

  • its out of control !!!!!

  • r u kidding riding in the rain is the best doing fishy tales all over the road

  • lets go right here and see where it takes me LOL

  • u should wear some volleyball knee pads under ur jeans at least. they look cool and at least you'll have your knees so you dont walk like a hobbit

  • what age would u guys recomend me to buy a bike??? 18 too young??

  • @1775edde I personally don't think so, just be prepared to pay the insurance costs. its still cheap tho. i'm 19 and I am getting a bike VERY soon.

  • yeah yeah yeah! keep talking about some countries have snow! -.- germany is one of them! :p

yeah i always get hit by a fly when i just opened my visor. last time I opened it and 1 sec later this huge f***king fly hits me right on the cheek.

  • I get shit in my eyes all the time

  • I'd swap my car for a bike except I work in a city called Newcastle and it's full of angry people with small dicks and pms that love to kill people on bikes to take Their anger away from how shit the place they live is.

  • i've had an accident on a bike like 2 days ago. i had all my gear on except protective pants. i didn't feel a thing everywhere i had protective gear. For not wearing protective pants (i was in jeans), i ended up with a banged up purple knee. had i not have gear, i would've ended with a cracked head, a broken foot and a broken finger. instead i ended up with a cracked visor, a broken glove, scratched boot and a little torn jacket.

  • defiantly the weather lol, i had to ride home today from school in a thunderstorm

  • hes back!!!! :D

  • fuck 4 wheels buy a trike, nuf said????

  • @TheOneAndOnlyNaiNai T-Rex? :):)

  • I went through my first winter and 4 month of no riding . . . I went crazy to say the least and yes I always get crap in my eye's with the visor down ;P. Cagers have NO RESPECT for riders, when they see us they think were a useless part of society. I have even had someone push my rear tire forcing my off the road on the. Now I understand why most people are flying by these dumb ass cagers ;P.

  • did you know your 36 times more likely to have a serious accident if you are riding a bike

  • In Latvia we have winter and in summer a lot of rain too. But rain suit costs less than 40$ and you can ride comfortable, warm and get to work dry :) Love to ride in rain.

  • i missed you so much. for the past four weeks i cried myself to sleep every single night...

  • @VietStaHoang u have issues.

    SEE A DOCTOR!

  • Get side bags for your ninja.. problem solved...

  • @larlar752000 side bags are for fags

  • @squarecnix Saying something is for fags is just down right stupid... Side bags are very handy and they work for when you wan't to pick up food and stuff, so while you look like a moron trying to fit your food in your backpack I can just throw them in my side bags.

  • @larlar752000 ur right lol i was just joking man, sorry if i offended u

  • motorcycle muso rom the future lol

  • omg wtfhaveyoubeen?!?!

  • FINALLY !!!!!

  • @DeeJayMiikkii haha that has crossed my mind a fair few times, but cbf really lol

  • it amazes me how few cars are there, after all Australia has a low population density. I agree with you blinky, I just began riding, my first bike is a 2007 650r and so far I'm pretty happy, but fortunately I also have a car to meet my needs, the bike is my expensive toy.

  • thiers cons? lol

  • 100 likes NO dislikes DAMN

  • rockin' motorcycle muso from the future ROFL

  • What guitar and what amp?

  • YOU'RE BACK!

  • Lots of things you've mentioned can be easily overcame with a little perseverance Blinky, First of all, a thin but perfectly good 2 piece waterproof oversuit can be bought for around £15. That'll stop any water, keep you bone dry and also stop wind chill in colder climates. Secondly, something I couldn't do without, a top box can be bought and fitted to any bike (panniers also can add to storage). That'll allow you to carry all kinds on the bike. I very much suggest a box and waterproofs for you

  • You cant really comment on riding in the rain until you get wet weather gear..... Then make a comment... Its pretty good riding in the wet and feeling dry. Wear raincoat and protective weather gear over your pants then do a video :-)

  • Why oh why didn't I take the blue pill

    Hahahahahaha

  • You should definitely consider doing a how to change your oil video i thought that would be a good idea.

  • This is what I've been missin. blinky

  • Good points mate. A con for me as well is that you have a bad hair day every single day lol except if you have short hair

  • lol this has nothing to do with the video but the ad near the top right corner is showing the items im thinking of buying from soccer.com.

  • @every1wasanoob that's because your pc " remembers" what sites you've been visiting. google adsense is showing you ads most relevant to those sites. if you'd have searched for motorcycles, you'd probably see motorcycle ads in the top right corner

  • for the thing about snow...we can still ride in the winter i dont know what youre talking about not riding for months...it doesnt snow everyday.most days in winter, the roads are dry

  • @2cool0 Not in Michigan, USA. Almost everyday during the winter there is some snow on the roads. Hypothetically you could still ride but, if you have a bike in Michigan, you won't be riding. There are plenty of places in the world that people live where the roads are covered in snow 24/7 during the 3+ winter months making it impossible to actually ride.

  • love the matrix reference :) great vlog as always :)

  • How hard is it actually to kick the gearshift? I love motorcycles and I would like one but I'm not old enough and I've never even ridden on the back of one.

  • Have you ever come off your bike blinky?

  • FINALLY

  • leave it to the girlfriend... right blinkly lol

  • I ride whenever possible. Only if the weather is completely awful, I have to transport people, or items too large to carry, or if I am either extremely tired or injured in some way will I drive. Don't get me wrong, I actually think cars are great! I just think motorcycles are better. ;)

  • Good to see you back Blinky.

  • Forgetting your gloves.. thats nothing.. i forgot my helmet once and only remembered when i had got halfway down the road!

  • @TwitballJosh how the hell does that work. Thats like driving in your car, thinking to yourself, "Man, something is missing, but im not sure what it is. Oh shit, i forgot to put clothes on!!!"

  • You are lucky. I wish I could ride my bike all year round .I live in newfoundland Canada .I put my bike away in October and can not take it back out until late may( it is a 2010 250 ninja also). Love ur vid's!!

  • New vid! :)

  • I live in Toronto, Canada. We get shit load of snow in winter. I can only ride from May -Sep/Oct IF i'm lucky.

  • Next weeks video will be... at night...

  • I almost passed out when I saw this randomly. Crap, only 8:49 until I can pass out.

  • im 16 and live with my parents up here in Canada, and for around 3-4 months you cant ride :( it sucks .

  • Are there more videos coming up?

  • Nice to hear from you Blinky!

In Montreal (Canada) we can't ride from about December to March due to snow, and even in November and April not many people ride because of the cold. You're lucky only to have occasional rain to contend with!

  • bout time lol

  • i just get wet wet wet! thats what she said!

  • Good topic yea a bike would probley be a everyday thing for me it's coasting to much to own a car these days

  • speaking of gloves, i switch from half finger gloves to full finger gloves

although id think half finger gloves is more feeling and more comfort than full finger gloves

  • One love

  • Glad you're finally back man. Looks like the frame problem has been fixed too, looking forward to some more videos :)

  • YES YOU FINALY GOT THE CONS...and in winter is three months long where i am i still havnt tooken it out for a god long ride

  • Try make your video/voice system more like M13. Cant get any better than his.

  • Welcome back bikey.

  • Welcome Back! Look like the Blinky Promise is still on :D

  • @lonelykatana oh okay, that's a shame. :s but a heads up-video would have been nice.. I actually had to check if I had accidently unsubscribed :D

  • If you don't like the rain Blinky, you could alway's get a BMW c1 ( it's a scooter with a roof, and a windshield wiper !! ).... Dunno if you can get them in OZ ?

  • PRO: if you go through Mcdonalds Drive through you make all the staff laugh

CON: Once you get the food you put it in bag but you cant put drinks in bag so ur riding home one handed haha(past experience)

  • @W1ndle666 Lol, when i was contemplating getting a bike, the one and only con was that i couldn't get maccaz drive through drinks

  • @Eddyble you would think that you couldn't. but you can if u are determined enough lol

  • im getting a bike in june. im planning on riding it through the winter and rain. it sucks, but its pointless buying a car just for winter.

  • ive got a con i high sided my bike two days ago now ive got a broken wrist and a broken bike but hey im still not buying a car and i was on the dirt bike today :P

  • blinkycab! Where have you been?!?

  • i totally agree with both the vids haha, the weather recently has been rain, rain and more rain -.-

  • Ahh Finaly! :DD

  • What I found annoying was when I bought my first iridium silver visor , thought it was so cool until it got dark :) . Having to ride with the visor up is so painful.

  • i know you have contour hd , just wanna know whst setting do you use to record, thx

  • Hey, thanks for all these videos, i just got my 09 ninja 250 two weeks ago and your videos are really fun to watch and informative. So thanks for helping me make a descision on my bike and keep up the good work :D

  • ABOUT FUCKING TIME !
