The reason MB did a country western version of this song(Michael wrote this song), was it was a No.1 hit for him and the great, Blake Shelton, too. Somewhere on this site, MB is playing an enormous concert hall and sings a country version of Home and David Foster( on the piano ), stops him and says"I just wanted to give a different twist to the song",( I'm paraphrasing what Michael said since David stops him wondering why MB is doing this and in the background, Blake is standing there, grinning
