I tried this look. It was a fail...however I was able to do 2 puffy twists to the back and I got compliments on the style. I think my hair is too moist? it's smooth but puffy and wouldnt lay straight like yours. Howevaaa, I worked my 2 puffy flat twists. Thanks for the style Sug!

Ok, first of all....JADORE this style! It is gorgeous. Second, i have to ask you AGAIN, what is it with you and the brush? Several times i've heard you kind of disparrage the brush. What is the problem? Are they supposed to be bad? Please update me. Right now i use a denman for detangling and a boar bristle for smoothing dry hair. Am i damaging it even more? Help! I need to keep all 11 strands of my little hair!

OK. In the natural hair world, there are differing opinions. IMO, hair that is elongated w/o chemicals is still natural. Hair that is not "Heat trained" is still natural. Occasional, stretching using the tension method and/or a tool on the low setting so it does not break bonds in the hair to damage the natural curl pattern in still natural.
