I've heard people using lighters and heat guns...I did a bit of bending on my fresh derby car and a lighter did the trick...my pre-ran model will also use a lighter to bend it up.

u just got to know where to apply the heat and what kind.on some parts a use a candle flame then on others i use a lighter and also use boiling water on some of it.ive been making derby car models for as long as i've derbyd and figure 8.Thats about 8 years and i'll tell my first couple years i wasted a lot of models trin to bent them.I'll get some close ups of the cars for ya
