@thinough - Actually, the "Scream out desperation but..." from No One at the Bridge, and "...like a spiral sea unending" part of Cygnus X-1, Book 1 go higher. I can still sing the high part of Freewill here (at age 45), but I haven't been able to hit the notes in those other two songs in a long time.

Quite frankly, 4:28 was pretty nice, the singer picked it back up for that part. However, it would've been nicer during that whole breakdown solo part if the bass were a bit louder.. I couldn't really hear it.. :(

I think the singer started off very well, but dropped it a bit in the middle. I didn't expect a perfect performance just like Geddy, but this is a brilliant cover nonetheless.

it seems you've missed the point. 2112 is a group of guys who love Rush. Every member of this group says Rush is thier favorite band. All they are doing is paying tribute to thier musical idols/heros. Read the comments by the band themself. they are not trying to be Rush just merely pay tribute to them. No band is going to be better than the original, but 2112 do a great job of pulling off some very hard music.

Hey Jakester7531 - I think the guy is quite good. I enjoy his interpretation very much on Geddy's voice. (4:30=amazing) & the band is also great.

Let's talk about u for a moment. I went to your page. You're a drummer w/ zero videos posted & somehow u are a "fan" of Rush w/ your negative post of this singer?Your presumption that's he's gay is so ignorant. I think I speak for all Rush fans & Rush, u are not wanted as a fan b/c u don't get it. Grow up & post some vids to back up your talk poser.
