Beautiful as always JP! You explain your methods in a very easy to understand level. I truly appreciate you taking the time and effort to share this with us. I continue to practice on my Geoffrey Ellis Anasazi. Gettin' better every day. Second octave is still a bit challenging, but it shines through when I least expect it. Perhaps a video will be coming sometime soon.
@john17wi - You are always so very Kiind John. I pray you never stop. These beautiful flutes are most definitely worth the effort of understanding. Peace and Love to you dear brother. Love jP
Very nice lesson, Pat. Wish you would have done more on the regular flute. Maybe down the road. :) You can teach! You voice makes me relax and want to keep trying.
Very nicely done! Thank you for showing the steps as you did. Quite helpful and insightful! I am learning, slowly, slowly, slowly, but hanging in there, persevering.
@AngusMacFurgus - Oh I hope you do hang in there, it is so worth the effort. The ability to make a sweet sound is so cool. In the morning before I go to work I sit in my favorite chair and play for 15 minutes, then when I get home I play for awhile, then on the weekends I go outside and find a nice spot in the wooded area to play. I can't get enough. I just Love playing. I don't think I'll ever grow up;-). Peace and Love to you dear one. Love jP
Well. I've told you for a LONG time that you are a natural born teacher. See???? VERY nicely done. I didn't have any trouble hearing you.... THANKS, JP!!!
@ChoctawFlute - This is more like the Prayer Rock Flute = Based on 700 to 1200 year old artifacts of the Anasazi civilization, this 6 hole rim-blown flute is true to the scale and tone of the ancient flutes of the four corners area. 26.5 inches long, carved cedar and very durable earth pigment enamel finish, low note is Bb and the tone is excellent.
Cool thank you for this sir. I am thinking of getting one of these from coyote old mans site. btw. the audio volume is a little difficult to hear on this one. :(
You are a GREAT teacher:) Your spirit is calming & peaceful.
Thank you for sharing your gift with us:)
I send beams of light of peace & love your way:) Selam
