Im only getting 2 problems after unrooting. One is that when I connect to samsung kies it says it that my device is not supported for upgrades and it shows a really long firmware version. The other is that it is not letting me format my usb storage.

When I want to download the tar file, it says "you see captcha because you are a free user" .. I do not get a captcha. So when I end up clicking "Download", it says "wrong code" and won't let me. I've never had problems seeing captcha's before, I dont know what the issue is.

@TheBhavinKid theres an app on the market that only checks for suoeruser permission..thinks its called "am i rooted" or something along those lines and you can also purchase a usb jig off amazon for 5-6 bucks and it resets the binary counter which sprint can look at and see the exact number of times this the phone was rooted...hope this helps

Help. I've already done this before with the instructions of updating from Froyo to Gingerbread and absolutely had NO problems. But now that I've reset my phone from Clockwork to Odin mode, the Odin software says FAIL (instead of pass). So with my phone stuck on the Downloading screen, I took the battery out and hoped to try again the process. But now, my phone won't even turn on! Even when plugged on the charger, there's no light coming on nor battery charging animation on the screen.

@poochedout No the files for the Epic 4G are different. The process is essentially the same, but the files are not. This video is solely meant for the Epic 4G Touch.

i love you ;_; you have no idea how long and hard i was looking for this. i rooted my galaxy s2 epic 4g all wrong and it was so jacked up. the home and menu keys didnt work and the search key would work as the menu key. and it wouldnt turn on sometimes unless i plugged it in the usb. now its back to normal and im so happy. you are my life saver.

I just installed the SAR rom on my epic 4g touch and its cool and all but I prefered the stock better. is there a way to change back to the stock but keep the root? if that makes sense at all... i want the root but i dont love the SAR rom so i want to switch but i just want to go back to the stock setup until i find another rom I like. If anyone can help that would be awesome... thanks

@qbking77 Will this work on my phone? I rooted my phone, downloaded clockwork, got into the system and created a backup file. I uploaded one of the zedomax roms and I was having issues with my wifi. So i got back into the cwm and did a factory/data reset. Now my phone wont do anything but stay go to the cwm boot screen. My backup file was lost because cmw upgraded itself. any help is appreciated.

Thanks a lot man! zedomax got my ass lost! Your way worked, up until the reboot. It went through the Sprint 4G crap and then it got stuck in a bootloop. I just did the factory data reset and voila. Thanks a bunch!!!

All worked great. Thank you so dang much! My ET4G wouldn't even get passes Samsung's logo boot screen before this. @all. Drivers took about 2 minutes to "install" once the phone was plugged in. Odin3.ini might just be labeled as Odin3 in the Odin zip file. Once I Clicked start in Odin to begin the process it took about 5 minutes. But don't freak out if it takes longer. :-)

Yes this guy is kinda great thanks for posting free videos like this but I had a issue with rooting my sgs2 and I asked what to do he told me to unroot my phone when I was never rooted ever......I did it all myself I had to fix the drivers and fix klies without his help and even when I asked for his help he gives you small advice and have to keep asking him over and over and still got me no where.....thanks for getting me close but I had to do everything myself thankfully I fiqured it out.

Is there any safe clockable kernel out there that you recommend. Everything I have done to my phone I have followed your brilliant intructions. If you watched the video you would see that it didnt wipe his data. Though once when I had to do it, it did wipe all my data. So, maybe it varies. Like the previous person said though, the tar file link is not working. Major thanks for this vid though it will help allot of people. I could have used this video myself a couple days ago when I almost bricked my phone but luckily the fine people at xda.com walked me through this exact process! Keep up the awesome vids @qbking77!
