  • how you make the effects?

  • WOW WELL DONE!!!!

  • You guys!

    make the best covers !

  • You're amazing guys, where do you get the backing tracks? cheers from Uruguay

  • Amazing voice!

  • Are you retarded he was vibratoing...maybe not to absolute perfection but he was. It was small and short but he most certainly did. I thought he did freaking great...I'm impressed.

  • Vous gérer grave les musiciens, vous choisissez pas le plus facile en plus, félicitation

  • Énorme :O , une reprise super bien repris! Continuer comme sa! Si vous faite un concert dans le 17 prévener moi xD

  • Your vocals are amazing man! nice cover to all of you ;)

  • Brilliant cover, nice one guys.

  • Impressive! :)

  • the singer should do more vibrato to be more like matt and it would be perfect

  • Very nice, guys, but you definitely need a backing vocal by bassist :D

  • DONT LISTEN TO NEGATIVE COMMENTS, YOU GUYS ARE REALLY GOOD AT THIS. WE DO SOME MUSE COVERS, BUT NOT EVEN CLOSE TO HOW SIMILAR YOU DO IT.

  • man this is the best cover i have ever heard of this song! great job! :D

  • Ok for those people who don't know... Musest is their COVER band name, their band name is Blend... so yes of course they are going to do things like Muse when covering... check out some of their music before telling them to get original.

Also this crowd sucks... just saying :p

  • @TheRacsta i think that if you had a band, and this guys were doing tributes like this one to your band, you would be f*cking proud of them!!

  • you guys sound really good, the only thing i would say to do is tell your drummer to drum harder on the intro, the drums are what get the crowd tapping there feet, and you got it.. and nice ending!!

  • Amazing cover, i mean best muse cover ive seen, start making ur own stuff its never too late to be recognised? ;)

  • u play very nicely but i just dont understand why u have to be "the MUSEST?" I mean i think u should be more personally yourselves if u know what i mean

  • what effects u use for guitar

  • sex

  • Bravisimo! Muy buen trabajo. Una cover increible! Good job!

    Saludos desde españa.

  • how do u get in sync with the samples and synth and stuff?

  • How does the drummer keep in time with the backing track?

  • @TopherJS PURE SKILL :P

  • @TopherJS I play along with a click track

    Cheers Bob

  • great job, best cover so far!

  • The singer has a great voice! Very very few people can sing like Matt Bellamy, so it's a harsh criticising him for that.

He also looks like Gareth Bale.

  • Best cover of this song by a band I've seen! Great work

  • best muse cover i have have ever seen

  • lovin' it :D

  • is the bass guitar having effects?

  • the singer is good beyond belief but NOT for muse. his voice dont contain bellamyions. ions wiv bellamys face on them that enable you too sing like him

  • @Daldric This is a cover, he doesn't have to sound like the Matt. I think the singers voice works well for this song.

    Kick ass job.

  • Hey don't listen to these untalented, jelous idiots, anyone who thinks that there's a formula to how you should or shouldn't sound and/or look knows NOTHING about music! As long as you play with passion/heart and have fun while doing it, that's about the one thing that matters. Awesome performance!

  • You guys should try MK ultra :D

  • from far away this guy actually looks like matthew bellamy

  • amazing performance!

  • great voice

  • only two words: WELL DONE!!! Did you use a step-filter pedal (for the guitar effect) or a software on the computer?

  • you guys are freakin amazing

  • I'm really glad to see someone doing this sort of thing, and you guys do it well, keep up the awesome work

  • So when are you guys planning on coming to LA? :-D Not only are your covers superb, your original songs are pretty bomb as well.

  • greatt....!!

  • Simply amazing sound................

Excelent voice and guitar, impressive bassist, fabulous drummer.

  • Hes not suppose to sound like Matt when you sing you dont say to yourself "oh today i wanna sound like" you just sing in your normal voice.

  • lekkere cover en ja je lijkt echt veel op Bellamy :)

    :P

  • Eh, he still doesnt sound like matt.

  • At the start wrong playing its played on the C string like this : 0---3---8----5

  • nice cover mamen :D

  • nice cover mamen :D

  • i agree...great cover but dnt need the dress up. Just be yourselves...

  • Best Muse cover I've seen

  • Good... but the bass needs to play a little faster the second half of the song... if he doesn't does it... the song doesn't sounds the same...

  • very nice... I love your cover songs !!! :)

  • Ik zou zeggen, kom ooit eens naar België :) Zowel jullie eigen muziek als de Muse tribute zijn echt schitterend. Grtz

  • Five stars.. guys you are amazing.. greetings from Mexico

  • This sounds amazing! Good voice too.

Probably the first EVER agreeable Muse cover!

  • Hi, how are you guys playing ure backing tracks live and how did you get those backing tracks for live playing?

    Awesome band.

  • WOW!!!! im a huge muse fan and WOW you guys are amazing do you guys play in the LA area please email me if you do!!! you guys are so awsome!! i cant stop saying WOW!!!!!!

  • excelent!!!! i do cover's muse too :)! this song its very cool! its sounds very nice guys!

    great!

DIEGO [VERSATIL] PERU - AREQUIPA (south america)!

  • so good..

  • WOWW!!! i must say, everything aboot this video is prime. very, VERY nice work chaps =)

  • Easily the best cover of Map that I've ever seen. Well done guys. I'm not exaggerating when I say that. I've been looking at loads of versions of this song and nothing comes close.

I like the way you finish it up, the same as the HAARP DVD.

  • How many people were at that gig?

  • AMAZING

  • dont suppose you guys could tell me how you managed to re-create the guitar effect?

  • @JThorpe2020

MIDI controlled Whammy. octave down/normal/octave up... etc. That's what the macbook is doing at the back besides playing some samples now and then...

  • @BlendChannel excellent work. did you use GarageBand or some other software?

  • @BlendChannel What programme do you use to manipulate the MIDI controlled whammy on the Macbook? Awesome cover by the way, sounds perfect :)

  • @BlendChannel Or you could buy the Nord Lead 2 Rack which Matthew uses, but i admit that you really owned that effect in the way that you managed to re-create it.. Great cover!

  • @BlendChannel Can i control the MIDI octave down/normal/octave up with a Casio Privia X3?

  • @JThorpe2020

the best way to get this effect is to use guitar rig!

  • @JThorpe2020 with "guitar rig 3" you can do it.. i have it.. but i play bass eehhe cheers

  • This has got to be one of the best covers on YouTube... Really excellent quality, plus you guys replicated the Map Of Effect which takes quite a while to do. Awesome work, I'm gonna look at some more videos :D

  • Wicked!

  • I love your voice...

I prefer your cover than the original :$

  • man,awesome cover :D

  • You will never be like MUSE

    AWESOME! cover

  • YOU. GUYS. ARE. AWESOME!

  • Love it!! Congrats on your success!! We need more cover bands in the US, though! :P

  • Dudes this is amazing, i went to see muse at the O2 the other week, BEST COVER ON YOU TUBE :)

  • very nice cover, you just forgot the Drop C tunning on the guitar...

  • Wrong... how was I supposed to play that last part if it wasn't tuned to dropC? ;-)

  • I´m actually talking about the verses, try the drop C in the bass intro, just like matt does in Haarp and other concerts, it should sound more agressive...by the way

Congratulations, your cover is amazing, the best live cover on youtube surelly

    Cheers!

  • u need skills with a whammy bar.......xD

  • its just picked up higher with no original bassnote from the guitar if u ask me, which u hardly notice in the song itself, but at the end u hear, its not in the actual tuning muse does in the live shows, nonetheless, im suprised by the quality

  • @BlendChannel I think guibr18 was talking about how you didn't play 0-3-8-5 on the E(tuned to C) for the intro.

  • @BlendChannel the end is supposed to be played in Drop C

  • AWESOME JOB! this is one of my most fave songs by muse and you guys did it justice

    keep rocking!!

  • wooow...amazing..really!!

  • You can play like Matt Bellamy, you can act like Matt Bellamy, you can even look like Matt Bellamy, but it's just not possible to sing like Matt Bellamy.

  • this guys is AMAZING, the whole band is ace and it shows, don't be a hater

  • try to hear an italian tribute band, they are the nishe cover band

  • @SmallTownLee He does a great job at it tho :-D

  • @SmallTownLee That's a bad thing?

  • great cover..but..can u get a new identity?dont follow 100% like muse i mean the dress up...pls?

  • @protogenix it IS a tribute band, haha

  • I love this! Muse covers by a band I have heard. Your own songs are good too. :)

  • How do you get that sounds??

  • 4 whammies.

  • We use only one whammy, automated by a laptop via Midi!

    Cheers!

  • @BlendChannel you guys use a digitech whammy to recreate that effect?

  • Are there two headless mannequins on stage? WTF? haha...

  • Reeeeally good guys.. can you make some studio versions of muse songs? so that you'll get really high quality! :D.... or maybe you have, havent checked into it that much hehe

  • you guys are good. but the singing sounds a little bit like fall out boy. but forget that part. everything else is great.

  • 5 stars

  • Big respect guys, great covers :) 5 Stars

  • Hello! I really like your cover! I'm trying for months to get the sound... can you tell witch effect you use? or witch pedal? thanks!!

  • That was amazing, and....is ur drummer wearing a tie? ( no offense at all on ties, i'm just curious..)

  • Guys, how can i get your CD or download your songs??

  • Really nice!!! ;-)

  • Mate, you look and move like Matt!

  • How did you get that effect on the guitar??

  • Midi controlled whammy. Executed by the laptop at the back. Took a while to figure it out, but it seemed to work pretty well :-)

    Cheers!

  • Best cover on youtube, mind sharing abit more info about the midi controlled whammy?

  • You guys should do a cover of hyper music. You're good at getting the crowd going and I think you could pull off that song well.

  • you're just brilliant! I would be more impressed if you would cover Butterflies and Hurricanes! That would be just wonderful! But don't get me wrong! YOu'Re still the best on youtube i ever saw! Cheers and success from germany ;)

  • good show!the haarp ending cracked me up, (in a good way)

  • klinkt extreem goed!

  • klinkt lkkr mense!!!

    ga zo door

ik hoop (als jullie ze hebbe ;) ) dat jullie eige nrs oowk zo lekker klinke! maar dan wel in jullie eige stijl ^^

    k gaat ff zoeke :P

    maar ga zo door!

  • jesus christ, amazing.

  • stay tuned!

    more Muse video's coming tomorrow!

    Cheers,

    -BLEND-

  • nice one what did you use for the synth?

  • Thank you! But there's no synth. The 'synthy' effect on the guitar is produced by a midi-driven whammy and the sounds we don't play live ('cause we haven't got enough hands ;-) is a backing track, which runs on the the mac (top-left).

    Cheers!

  • cool

how did you stay in time with the backing track?

or is your drummer listening to a metranome?

  • yeah the drummer is playing along with a clicktrack, also coming from the mac of course.

  • yeah that's what we do but on our own synth stuff and we sequence our synth via midi

  • i been wondering this for ages but how does your drummer listen through a click track coming out of the laptop with out stopping the signal of the actuall backing track- i mean how do you split the signal from the backing track and the click track.

we have made stuff on music programs but don't know how we would get the backing track through an amp and then another though headphones.

  • We use an external firewire soundcard (edirol FA101) with 10 outputs in combination with Ableton Live on the mac and just set the backing track on output 3-4 (goes to amp) and the clicktrack on output 1-2/headphone output (to hp).

with a normal stereo output on a mac/pc it is also possible, just sent the backing track only to "left" and the click only to "right". a big disadvantage is that in this case they both will be mono.. so you can't have any wicked stereo effects on your backing track.

  • I have 6 of your songs that I got fro your site, where can I get your CDs from?

Are you going to be recording any new material soon?

  • We recorded two new songs lately and we'll have these mixed soon. You can get CD's from us if you like, you can't buy them in a store yet...

  • cheers thanks a lot!

  • 5 star is not enought for yall....Beyond excellent. ?...yes...that word can be used.huhuh

  • Beyond excellent.
