Family burglarized, ask thieves to return family memories

I was burglarized in Modesto just about a year ago, about 10 in the morning someone came ringing my doorbell and my parents weren't home and I had just woken up so I didnt feel like going to the door. Next thing you know theres someone in my kitchen looking around. I got a quick glimpse of him as I peeked around the corner and he didn't see me and I called the police. It was pretty frightening. Now that I look back on it I wish I could've hit him with a bat. He made off with my dad's laptop.
