You will get your macbook fixed even if its out of warranty, just pay if something goes wrong (most often nothing goes wrong due to better design and hardware-software integration). He din't mentioned that apple got high data transfer port i.e thunderbolt compared to usb 2 ports on samsung + apple got smooth networkn with other apple devices (like ipad, iphone and other mac).
The Samsung S9 I bought is actually 1200... IDK WHERE you bought it for 1600... lol Samsung is better, I have both the macbook air and the samsung and let me tell you that in speeds there is no comparison and performance as well... and well the samsung is lighter as well lol... I got macbook white and mac mini, since 2007, I even assembled high end pc for video editing but I m sticking with mac due to its reliability and it doesn't crash randomly or caught virus even after having best antivirus. Windows is good for very cheap system (for gaming), but I better buy xbox or ps3 for gaming. For video editing either go with HP or Apple if your time is money.

There are tons of programs like quicktime for windows and they are free and some, that are much better than quicktime are paid. ilife = windows live lol. it's the same crap. You won't get a big "wow" because all macs look the same. The S9 looks so different from anything. BTW that power is used when gaming and big programs :D

A macbook white 2009 late(costed me $999, I would replace it with air probably next year), I run adobe cs5.5 mc(wp feature) on windows bootcamp and do my iOS development (which I use to do on 2007 mac mini, $599). + I got PC (i7 3GHz, 12GB RAM, Nvidia Quadro) for video editing and civ5 (cost around 1299$) this one I clearly got extra as I don't need that much after using it for a year
@manpaisa92 Compare any high end PC (I got one with high-end graphic card and i7 processor, and excellent cooling system). Its perfect for my need as its comparable to mac pro, but it does crash and caught virus, I don't know what you do but I m use to of infected usb (its part of my work) so I do get virus often , I often saw it crashing too.. Nvidia release new version of its driver to address these issues, sometimes windows do security updates. Bad value for money imho.

@Hidd3nman87 On the keyboard air has absolutely zero lines..its simple. 9 series is definitely not as simple..you can tell where the different parks come together..and the rim has a different material...if you want to get very strict with this the the joint where the screen and the keyboard meets for 9 series is also visible..unlike air, and also, the port where you flip out isn't very firm...looks like 9 series can't even do a good job copying ideas off the old air.

@Hidd3nman87 theres nothing complicated about it when its on an apple, but turn to the back of the 9 series and the back of the air and you'll see what I'm talking about, same for the sides, apple is just clean on the no lines, only tiny screws, perfect symmetry, 9 series just looks messy in comparison. air's sides are clean too, and 9 series just had to look messy with ports flipping in and out, again. the keypad surface for mac is also one full piece of material aside from the black keys,

@Robbs101 there are several terms and conditions in warranty , so in the end it means nothing. You will get your macbook fixed even if its out of warranty, just pay if something goes wrong (most often nothing goes wrong due to better design and hardware-software integration). He din't mentioned that apple got high data transfer port i.e thunderbolt compared to usb 2 ports on samsung + apple got smooth networkn with other apple devices (like ipad, iphone and other mac).

@manpaisa92 where you get it for 1200? , have you checked samsung website. I got macbook white and mac mini, since 2007, I even assembled high end pc for video editing but I m sticking with mac due to its reliability and it doesn't crash randomly or caught virus even after having best antivirus. Windows is good for very cheap system (for gaming), but I better buy xbox or ps3 for gaming. For video editing either go with HP or Apple if your time is money.

No Quicktime X for screen capturing , Mac got better font support and mac got better design which justify its price. You pay so much for raw power which you never even use that much , I would rather pay that for big *wow* ;-) I get after getting that aluminum piece of art in place of that. If you don't pay and get a cheap system than so be it, why you are defending samsung series 9 then.

@kickassdj My Samsung S9 looks and feels WAY better than any MAC, it is made of a beter material too. Although it is true that most Macs look better than most Pcs. There are tons of programs like quicktime for windows and they are free and some, that are much better than quicktime are paid. ilife = windows live lol. it's the same crap. You won't get a big "wow" because all macs look the same. The S9 looks so different from anything. BTW that power is used when gaming and big programs :D

@manpaisa92 you see I don't play games on laptop, I play on my ps3 or my bro's xbox. My current setup is.. A macbook white 2009 late(costed me $999, I would replace it with air probably next year), I run adobe cs5.5 mc(wp feature) on windows bootcamp and do my iOS development (which I use to do on 2007 mac mini, $599). + I got PC (i7 3GHz, 12GB RAM, Nvidia Quadro) for video editing and civ5 (cost around 1299$) this one I clearly got extra as I don't need that much after using it for a year

@manpaisa92 Compare any high end PC (I got one with high-end graphic card and i7 processor, and excellent cooling system). Its perfect for my need as its comparable to mac pro, but it does crash and caught virus, I don't know what you do but I m use to of infected usb (its part of my work) so I do get virus often , I often saw it crashing too.. Nvidia release new version of its driver to address these issues, sometimes windows do security updates. Bad value for money imho.
