Personally I think it's better that ready, aim, fire isn't called. It's tighter and has more "weapon" cadence rather than command cadence, which is what we all love to hear. =)
Hundreds of Hundreds of times....we ran through this I can still feel the pad of my hand aching from the jack back of the weapon...
During my time we dipp'd the clip in silver to signify Top 7 members, is that still done? I remember handing mine down to the troop taking my spot on Top 7 when I left, I cried as I handed mine over...so many amazing memories of being Top 7. Little in life can touch it.
@cardiffsurfergirl There's no Top 7 anymore, no Top 8, 4...despite numerous efforts to bring it back. It's sad what has happened/is happening to The Guard.
I didnt know we call commands at ceromonial at ease, good job NFP. Your point was too fast. but otther then that at least u guys were pretty much all together.
Yea its "Readup face" they bring them up and then "Readup" then charge aim fire, back to port, back to charging handle for 2 more vollies. I've done this a few times ^_^
Not anymore. The command we use now sounds like "reddup." We just charge, flare, aim and fire in cadence. I'm not certain how long ago it was changed, though.
