@KRPunK77Guitarist Hi there. I got the wood from Acoustic Woods LTD. out of Port Alberni. Not sure if they're still active or not. All the hardware and other parts were purchased through StewMac.
@skater32798 You can get Luthier supplies from various sources. If you're in the U.S. check out Stewart-MacDonald for a start. The glue used in this project was white wood glue (Titebond).
@diversereel No, I spent the summer of 2006 studying with Luthier Adam Marsh Johnston on Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada designing and building this Guitar. There are books but I recommend studying with an experienced Luthier if you're interested in building an Acoustic. Thanks for checking out the video!
@vladimirdrazeta Thanks so much! I recently released an album. Quite a bit different than this but you can check it out if you'd like at jayrobinsonmusicDOTcom
hey im a carpenter an love what you've done! i wanna make one of my own to! i have a few questions tho please if you dont mind, do i make the face, back an sides out of solid wood, an how thick should they be like 3 millimetres? ive already made a jig for the face an back, and a bending jig for the sides, i love workin with my hands but just need a lil help, would appreciate it alot, thank you :o) Jonny
@JonnyOneEyes Yes, the back and sides generally speaking, are approx. 3mm thick. The back is made from 2 pieces just like the top. Hope that helps. Best of luck on your build!

@wsferbny Thanks! Yes, I used a side bending jig. The music in the video is some improv I performed/recorded in my store last winter.
