  • im in vancouver. where'd you get the parts from? (wood, tuners etc.)

  • @KRPunK77Guitarist Hi there. I got the wood from Acoustic Woods LTD. out of Port Alberni. Not sure if they're still active or not. All the hardware and other parts were purchased through StewMac.

  • Nice

  • Where did he get wood that thin? And whats it called im planning on making my own acoustic oh and whay glue did he use to hold the wood together

  • @skater32798 You can get Luthier supplies from various sources. If you're in the U.S. check out Stewart-MacDonald for a start. The glue used in this project was white wood glue (Titebond).

  • Is there a book or guide you followed to make this? I would LOVE to make my own acoustic!!!

  • @diversereel No, I spent the summer of 2006 studying with Luthier Adam Marsh Johnston on Vancouver Island in British Columbia Canada designing and building this Guitar. There are books but I recommend studying with an experienced Luthier if you're interested in building an Acoustic. Thanks for checking out the video!
