As for the rest of the cast. I'll list what game I preferred them the most Tails - Colors Knuckles - Adventure Amy - Adventure Rouge - Adventure 2 Shadow - Adventure 2 Eggman - Both are fine honestly. Espio - Generations Charmy - Shadow Vector - Shadow Silver - lolno Blaze - Sonic '06 Big - Adventure Cream - Heroes That's all I can think of at the moment. Also, I should state Smith isn't a bad voice actor. I just don't think he's a nice fit for Sonic, due to a deeper voice. Just my 2 rings.

I simply hated Sonic's voice so much in Colors, I honestly had to change the language to Japanese. Honestly.

I was cringing a bit when the first cut scene in Generations came up, but when Sonic spoke it wasn't too bad. I could tolerate it. I partially blame the dialouge in Colors I guess.

Still, I never hated Jason. I was fine with him. I prefer both the previous ones to Smith though.

Smith is the same guy that did Shinji in Bleach (Not really gonna say they sound alike) and Tails is voiced by Kate Higgins; Same as Sakura from Naruto. I recall that Shadow was voiced by the same VA as Kisame from Naruto.

While everyone in the Lion King fanbase whined about how Nala and Simba looked jacked up, I was kinda just "I'm not really seeing anything 'bad' about them. :/" I thought Shadow's new voice was seductive and sexy. Besides, this is like their second time recording the voices. People can't expect them to be PERFECT.

I just hope they replace Dan Green as Knuckles. I liked Dan Green when he voiced Yugi, but since then he's been doing the SAME VOICE over and over again. Knuckles and Yugi sound exactly the same, and it's annoying.

(Actually, William Corkery and Amy Palant sounded the same except William sounded like he had a cold) Tails always sounded like a girl even when he was voiced by a boy in the Adventure series and DiC cartoons cuz his voice hasn't cracked and is high pitched.

Tails is voiced by a girl in the OVA. Tails was almost if not always voiced by a girl in Japanese, as most boys in animation usually ARE, even in English.

@comradsausage23 Well with girls, they can do boyish voices and it would not get deep. But with a young kid, they have to be replaced every time their voice gets deep.

Women are best doing boy voices; like Nancy Cartwright, Tara Strong, Kath Soucie, E.G Daily and Debi Derryberry.

Yeah I like roger craig smith, he's one of my favorite Voice actors, but even I can tell that he's just not quite fitting for the role of Sonic, Jason Griffith was the best so far... Kate Higgins, I think will do a fine tails, tho id prefer Amy Palant still... I'm not too fond of Sonic's new voice. I don't deny that Smith is a great voice actor and I agree that he sounded like a teenager but that's all he sounded like. Sonic is more than just some average teen. I liked both Ryan and Jason because they both had an upbeat, cocky, nigh up there flare in their voice where as Smith just....sounds like a teen. As for Kate Higgins as Tails though, I do love her voice for Tails much better than Amy Palant. A great choice for Tails.

I love to watch video game cutscenes, but in Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic '06, and Unleashed I always skipped the cutscenes that Tails in it. And when he was in the gameplay, I always muted the TV. I heard Kate Higgins was a good voice actor and signer so she's sure to be good. As for Roger, he sounds great! I agree!

Not too bad actually. I think that Roger's voice is a bit too deep for Sonic. After all, Sonic is still only a teenager, no matter how old his franchise gets. Even so, Roger could perform better than Jason anyday. Roger has more voice-over experience than Jason does. Don't get me wrong; Jason's voice was, I think, in the correct age range for Sonic, but he over did it WAY too much...
