Man your playing is brilliant!!!!!! and thanks for all the other lesson videos they're ace! would it be possible to change the tubes on the production models from 6l6s back to EL34s?
@EOHRyan I was lucky enough to demo a MK50 II for MasterThatGear (check it out on the channel). They are different amps so tricky to compare. MK50 II felt a little crisper/tighter.
A question really, I'm thinki9ng of running a two amp setup with my Matchless and a RH30, I'm really after a vintage modded Marshall type of lead tone (But I dont really want a Marshall, had some difficulties!) Just wondered what your thoughts were?
@bigleemac Not tried a Matchless but have heard them and they do some awesome. The RH30, for me, definitely has that Marshall vibe to it (EL34s). If I drive the preamp stage with a line boost you get that classic sounding crunch lead, it's truly tone-a-licious at gig volumes :)
Fantastic demo for a fantastic amp. My best compliments for the quality and accuracy, mate. Oh, by the way, I WANT A CORNFORD !!!! I didn't have a crush like this for an amp since those long gone days when for the first time in my life I came across a Boogie Mark II back in the 80's....then, last year, I went to see a gig by Mr. Richie Kotzen and now I'm done!!
Excellent demo. Hopefully Cornford are rewarding you appropriately for using your superb guitar technique to buff up their amps! It really helped me decide that I want one of these!!
Hi Mark, I wonder If you can answer a question for me. i am looking to get a roadhouse 30, But have only really used 4x12 and 2x12 in the past. How is it throught a 1x12 live for sound spread etc..
I have the combo and I also run out in tandem into an additional 1x12 V30 cab which is across the opposite side of the room I play in. Its sounds very hi-fi...
Very very nice demo bro!!! I like how you tested the dynamic range of the mids, treble and bass. On these amps is there a reverb? Or what do you use when performing live for reverb if any thing? Thanks
@infernalgr buy it i tried it and I was amazed a true rock machine you can get all the tones you want from jazz to mark knopfler to ACDC to metallica to steve vai everything
roadhouse!

sweet amp.
it's kind of a like a smaller version of the RK100 being a single channel amp with a boost.

Very clear and concise demo. Your a fantastic player and get great tones.
I wish we could maybe have seen the master cranked up a bit, but I guess that isn't always easy to do due to the volume.
Thank you!

How does this thing sound side by side with a hand wired Cornford? for example like the Hellcat or MK50.
EOHRyan 10 months ago
@EOHRyan On the website, it says this is still constructed and handwired in the UK. Ive never played any though so I dont know how they really sound.

Hello there.! Killer amp.!
The Cornford website says the power tubes are 6L6 tho.
Is yours different from the ones currently under production?
peace
lbighetti 10 months ago
@lbighetti Yeah the originals shipped with EL34 then they changed to 6L6 for production models.

Why are you keeping the master volume so low?
I mean, tube amps usually sound better the higher the volume goes. Or maybe that's just my opinion.
Awesome demo though!

soulbrotha4u 1 year ago
@soulbrotha4u Thanks! No reverb on the Roadhouse. I personally don't use any reverb live. I use it only for recording really.
mastertheguitar 1 year ago
@soulbrotha4u If you can get a Cornford, you no longer need reverb to hide crappy amp tone because there wont be none.
