  • It's shit like this that makes television unwatchable.

  • I can't help but feel sorry for Chris Matthews. It has to be miserable being so pathetic!

  • pursuant to the Mack/Printz ruling Scalia warned, "The federal government may neither, issue directives requiring the States to address particular problems, nor command the States' officers, or those of their political subdivisions, to administer or enforce a federal regulatory program. Such commands are fundamentally incompatible with our constitutional system of dual sovereignty." It is rather obvious that nationalized healthcare definitely qualifies as a "federal regulatory program."

  • deepfriedchocobo you want guns taken away from all law abiding citizens until you are being attacked or your property is taken away. Then I'll bet you'll be screaming like crazy for someone to come to your aid. Read the constitution, you might learn something. Sheriff Mack is an honorable man who loves America. You should think before you comment in the future.

  • In America once you have paid for your crime , you have paided for your crime , that means that is it your done , once released you go about your business, what the hell is wrong with people punishing someone for life once released , if they are still a danger why the hell release them, do Americans even use there brains and think for themselves at all anymore

And for the record I have no criminal record of any kind at all and my family does not as well this does not effect me.

  • I don't agree Deepfried. Sheriff Mack is right, the 2nd amendment gives the right to keep and bear arms in one's home, and rifles for hunting. Everything he says is true. People have just been gradually brainwashed by the media who were paid off by those elite thugs who have screwed up this country.

  • He keeps saying "THE GOVERNMENT", what is the government? they are people, human beings, not some autonomous figure trying to take your guns and limit your fun, I want your guns taken as well. I think most people would agree it wouldn't be a good thing if every person was able to procure an M4. All criminals have had a clean record at some point.

  • @deepfriedchocobo Spoken like someone that thinks the Feds know best.

  • Mack's a crazy idiot.

  • I want to hit matthews in the face so bad

  • Damn, he attacked the shit out of him with that 9/11 question. It made me want to slap the shit out of Matthews. He didn't care about any of the issues being presented, he was just trying to figure out ways to discredit Sheriff Mack and the Tea Party revolution. Mainstream media is a joke.

  • Matthews is just an opposite to Bill Oreilly. Jerks both of them.

  • Thank you Sheriff Mack!!!

  • Notice when the Sheriff Mack starts talking about auditing the Fed Mathews starts hemming and hawing then brings up OCEA. He didn't want to talk about the FED.

  • Chris Matthews is nothing but a coward. That is all he is and he sickens me every time I hear his voice.

  • I truly despise this man Mathews.

    Jerk.

I hate the way he say AmARRica.

    It's AmErica you "you-know-what"!!!!!

  • Go Richard

  • Chris are you one of the 911 LIARS? Or are you number 912?

The American people cannot trust you and the rest of the Main Stream Media (MSM).

  • Comment removed

  • Fuck chris mathews. He's a socialist joke. As soon as you mention the Constitution you get called a truther. These joksters have got nothing left.

  • "Blaming guns for killing people is like blaming a pen for spelling mistakes"

  • I think felons should be able to have weapons after serving their sentence, and they should also retain their right to vote. If you believe otherwise you can't say you believe in liberty. Its really that simple.

  • I agree. Just because the government brands someone a felon doesnt mean their constitutional rights should be abolished. What happens when the government brands a person a felon for speaking out against the government during a national crisis? should those people lose their 2nd amendment rights? I dont trust the federal government to uphold my Constitutional rights if new york was ever hit by a nuke or ww3 was started

  • Chris Mathews is a complete idiot. Can't seem to keep his mouth shut long enough to hear the mans answers.

  • That is the problem with you people, it is either you believe in something or not. If you believe in the second amendment then once a person is released from prison\parole\probation is entitled under the second amendment to receive his gun rights back, because he has now paid his debts to society and is not presumed an free person. The term "shall not be infringed" means you can make no infringement on it, period.

That has always been the case! You guys are being hypocrites!

  • I thought that is what the tea parties were all about!! People and politicians picking and choosing the parts they did not like in the Constitution, well you guys need to protest yourself then. If you believe in gun laws and regulations then you are anti-second amendment, you maybe for gun privileges , but you are not pro second amendment.

  • Oh yeah, he's selling out. And Chris Matthews sold the space in his ass to make room for that stick...

  • Sheriff Mack just shot himself in the foot! The federal government has NO jurisdiction over guns under the second amendment! It does NOT matter if someone has a prior felony! He is selling out! The second amendment says "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.". That is an infringement Sheriff Mack. You either believe in the second amendment or not !! He is anti second amendment, period !

  • I think he was referring to rules at the state level. He said the feds have no right, but felons should not be able to have weapons.

  • um the no felon witha gun is a FEDERAL LAW, which is not permitted, if the state passes a no felon law that is actually ok

But the federal governement may NOT

  • I do not agree with any gun laws, as people are guilty not guns. but you are correct.

  • Yes it does, you have a felony you don't get a gun.

Sheriff Mack is 100% right on that

  • You are very ignorant (not an insult) on this subject, please go educate yourself on the second amendment and the tenth amendment to the Constitution. you will find the answers there.

  • Go Sheriff Mack!
