That is false. An old school strain -Santa Maria- (The weed your parents smoked) and a new school strain such as -Northern Lights- are both equally potent... the mixing of the two species simply made the plants more fruitful... thus, have a higher THC content.

Interesting but nowhere near scientific. Cannabis did not "recognize" anything, plants do not "cash in" and try to get us to work for them. The way this documentary anthropomorphizes plants is bad science. Talking about what a plant "wants" is crazy.

@AmericaN8marE The ultimate goal of all life on earth, be it plant; animal; insect; etc, is to reproduce and spread. Cannabis evolved to be desirable to other creatures that they would spread their seed for them, I think human's filled that role very well. Human's can't imagine lesser lifeforms having any semblance of intelligence, they might not be able to talk but don't jump to a conclusion that it can't "want" something. We've been wrong about so many things that we don't fully understand.

I used to love smoking...... But after ive been drinking for about 6 years.. Every time I smoke i think of how fucked up i am leading my family's life into the ground.. Take a few puffs, and I freak out thinking about what I try to drown with alcohol... I just dont get it... I can legally buy somthing to destroy mine and others lives, but yet its illegal to use somthing that makes me actually think about what is going on in my life and make myself a better person...

My father's drug of choice was alcohol and today in my mind I still see my mother bruised,bleeding and screaming for mercy as he bashed her time and again.I use marajuana,I go to work,my children are happy,healthy A grade students and there is no violence.Legalize Marajuana.

@shaggar70 It's not the alcohol that caused him to be that way, it was himself. Many people can drink alcohol and not be abusive. However, if you are abusive and you drink alcohol then the alcohol can trigger the abusive behavior if you catch my drift. I'm not at all against anything you're saying really other than it was your father's own personality that caused him to act the way he did. The alcohol just made it worse. I drink from time to time but I'd NEVER hurt anyone from it.
