  • Is it just me, or do Tomburini organs always seem to be out of tune?

  • It matters not how many or how loud the pipes are in the organ, the loudest one is always the one that's out of tune!

  • @eclgall Padre Marcelo is still alive? I spent one day a great afternoon with him while he showed me the abbay and the great organ that I had the pleasure to play Franck on it...

  • @emersonrsantos Yes, dear Emerson, he's still alive and playing.

  • Ja, das wäre schön...

  • very cool

    Gruss

  • Rex Instrumentorum!!

  • Some of the principals in the great sound like they need to be tuned!? Especially in the upper octave. Could be some wind leakage either??

  • The organ at that time was out of order. Now it is tuned.

  • @eclgall I think it would be extraordinarily difficult to keep a pipe organ in tune in a tropical climate, unless the chamber is continuously air-conditioned, which would be very expensive.

  • @robert3302 Dear Robert, you're right.

  • It's a big church in Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro State - Brazil // Es ist eine riesige Kirche in Niteroi - Bundesstaat Rio de Janeiro - Brasilien

  • Transmitirei as saudações a ele.

I had enjoyed Cesar Frank's music...

  • Transmitirei as saudações a ele.

  • I think YOUR EARS are out of tune !! goddamn bastards !!!

  • You could be more polite. I'm not the organist. I was there and made the video during a visit.

  • Ouch! Needs tuning! Other than that, a wonderful instrument!

  • It was a quick visit to the church and the instrument really needed tuning, I know. But the intention is only to show the instrument.

  • Probably the closest i'll ever see to an organ. How would you know if they don't tune it? They probably want to play it that way.

  • A big Organ needs to be tuned every 3 weeks, if its a small church Organ, once every year or so.

  • I see. Like I said, that's the closest thing i'll ever see to an organ. Other than that I really don't know much else about it other than some great music came from the organ.

  • ahhh well, if you want to see an organ, just ask one of the local churches staff, and they can show you, people are very relaxed about organs in America, they're willing to show you, play it to you, demonstrate everything etc. I'm an organist myself, and all I did was phone the vicar.

  • what?!? the french tune their organs better than you fucking americans

    Obrigado.

  • Caríssimo,

É que o órgão, nesse dia, estava desafinado.

  • love the little skweaks up top! Wonderful reeds, flutes. Oh what a pleasant pallet to choose from!

  • and it sounds awful...like a whale sized kazoo

  • Lavis23 NEEDS TO "CHILL"....or GET BACK ON YOUR MEDICATION....!!!!

  • very nice organ.

  • anyone know who the builder was??

  • The italian builder Tamburini.

  • Transmitirei a ele.

  • Dear friend,

My title doesn't say "Latin America" but "South America".

  • é un TAMBURINI is Italian Pipe Organ

  • that's made in italy!

    i like so much

  • Yes, I know this instrument since I was a Child. I have a Long Play with organ music in this ORgan. José Carlos Rigatto was the organist.

  • Mr. Rigatto, he is my old friend.

  • One note sounds rather badly out of tune. Otherwise, very good.

  • Aah, Caesar Franck, one of my favorite chorales

  • I thought the organ in the Cathedral in Sao Paulo was the largest in South America.

  • As a matter of fact this organ in Niteroi has more pipes than the instrument in Sao Paulo (eclgall)
