@SkyDav1s I take it you're not too familiar with baseball, eh? No worries, and in essence, you're right. They are actually hitting the ball. But as long as the runner doesn't safely make it to a base without getting thrown out (or without the ball being caught on a fly), then it's not referred to as a "hit." There's more specific associated with the "hit" term in baseball, such as errors. Check out the wiki page for more info or something
