  • May you please give me the music sheet? Thank you so much, you are super nice!

  • When I lived in California and would go racewalking at night, I use to listen to this song, and it would make me feel I was lifted off of the ground as I racewalked! The only light was from the moon, street lights, and the occasional car headlights....with this song playing!! Beautiful, energizing, encompassing, strengthening, moment!! It took care of my physical self and my spiritual self in a beautiful way. Thank you for uploading this song.

  • Turkey is a great country and she proved that in 1974 with the Cyprus occupation. Greece is just a lot of grease!

The simple truth is Yanni cannot be a Greek becasue music is greek to Greeks ha ha ha.

He can only be a Turk, just look at his hair its Turkish!

  • @vnck25 ah..ok...so there is no need for identity to tell someone's nationality..you can tell it from his hair...wow that's a talent...and by the way...what do you mean the Cyprus occupation?...do you mean the illegal take over of half the Cyprus and the death of the half people who lived there?..oh yeah that's a great achievement ...music is greek to greeks?...oh come on...it's obvious you don't know a bit about history...Have you ever heard of Pythagoras?...obviously not...do some research...

  • @vnck25 u obviously know nothing about history..the 'Cyprus occupation'?have u got any idea what Turkey did to Cyprus and it's people?..and pls, Turkey a great country?they cell toilets in the entrance of the church S.Sofia..and wow it's a great talent to tell sb's nationality from his hair...could't u just google it first?do it..and u'll see,Yanni is a greek name and he was born in Kalamata in 1954..so for you own good, go open a book or just go learn how to use the net without being an idiot.

  • @sunsitizens

I dont know what the hell you are talking about. Did you way up from the wrong side of the bed? lolz

  • @vnck25

no i didn't, did u?and i'm talking about the comment u left five days ago which was also commented by the user musicResistances and others, and which is ridiculous, almost as ridiculous as your english..go open o book,if u can find one..

  • @sunsitizens

    So what's the big deal?

If you cant accept it just mind your own business he he he

  • @vnck25

it is my business when u say that this incredible man,who IS Greek, whether u like it or not,is from Turkey, because, im'sorry to say that, but to most Greeks this equals to an insult, and it bothers me that u are talking about Greek history when u don't have a CLUE about it..so maybe YOU should mind your own business he he he...

  • @sunsitizens

The fun part is reading comments made by greek goats like you to my comments.

I know not all greeks have the mentality like you otherwise I will be flooded with replies. Just mind your own business!

  • @vnck25

of course now u reply with insults, as i said no clue for history or knowldge, u didn't answer to anything that matters (Cyprus,Yanni) because u were obviously WRONG and too proud to admit it, as i said my countrie's history IS my own business and i can't stand idiots like u offedning it, i suppose u are from Turkey and i trully pity u for that because u don't even have education, the history u learn is being selected by the government and your internet is filtered...U mind your bus.

  • @sunsitizens I would mind if i have a bus but i dont. The history of greece is just made up. There is no history in greece all the monuments have been made in the USA in the 1950s and shipped to greece to be erected.Awaiting your reply.

(This is fun playing with a greek goat!)

  • @vnck25 honestly how pathetic can u be?our monuments is the last part of our history you dickhead, probably names such as Sokrates,Aristotelhs,Pythagoras,Arximhdhs and so many others who gave to the modern world the rudiments for so many sciences and philosophies are unknown to u..but now i see it's no use wasting my time with an uncivilised person like u,i know one thing,Kostadinopolis used to be one of the most beautiful cities and Turkeys turned it into a dirty mess..once more u are pathetic..

  • @sunsitizens

All the stuff that you think was due to greeks are things that have been copied from East ( India , pursia and the rest)

What the meaning of pathetic? I guess it means very intelligent. Thank you I am flattered!

  • @vnck25

oh pls i'd rather die than call a Turkey intelligent, seriously go get a dictionary...and unless u are a historian don't post bullshit..some things were copied and developped others were discovered here..still i;m really trying to remember a name from your country,sb who did sth important,sb famous..oh yes ..there is NO such person from Turkey..what's pathetic?sad, pitiful, not worth for anything, especially attention..oh sb like u..

  • @sunsitizens

    lolz

  • amazing....incredible

  • simply amazing .. !

  • Thanks Yanni! Another great guy from Turkey!!!

  • @vnck25 Isn't he Greek?

  • @waivedwench

No no my friend. He isnt Greek. Yanni went to Univeristy of Minnesota for his B.A. degree and there he had to join one of these Fraternities ( aka Greek clubs) so people think that he is Greek which is totally wrong!

  • @vnck25 either you are a liar....or you dont really know what you're saying!!!!!......he is greek......and that's widly known!!!!!...he is from Kalamata,GREECE......and his name is Yiannis Chyisomallis......!!!!so...stop lying about his origin........'cause as it seems you are totally unaware...............!!!!

  • @tstmp What you are saying the the common mis-belief.

I did some research and found out these facts, actually further research showed me that he is acutally a Turkish citizen and lives in Istanbul.

He admits that while attending University of Minnesota he had to join one of those Greek clubs with absurd names!

  • @vnck25 .....as it seems your research is not good enough!!!!!he is greek....he speaks greek...and he loves Greece..espacially his hometown Kalamata!!!in a live concert in Acropolis,Greece(which you can watch in youtube)....he says that he miss a lot Kalamata and he wants to go back there!!!!!!your words MAKE NO SENSE!!!!!.....he is greek and that's the end..........!!!!!!!!goodbye...........

  • @tstmp There is no end lol, Yanni is Turkish and you will keep replying to my posts ha ha h a

  • @vnck25 obviouslly there is no end....whene people like you keep on lying........!!!!!!but i dont give a shit for your opinion because its yours and yours alone........everybody else knows his true origin....meaning GREECE!!!!!! α ρε γιαννη ΕΛΛΗΝΑΡΑ!!!!!!

  • @musicResistances

I think your cheap keyboard is doing havoc! Try to get a correct keyboard that type English!!! ha ha ha

  • @vnck25 this is greek

  • @musicResistances

    What is greek?

I know you dumb fool is greek ha ha ha

  • @vnck25 have you ever thought that if yanni hears you saying these things about Greece,he would be pissed off?You say you admire Yanni and then you making fun of his country...and please don't start saying that Yanni is Turk because you know that that is a lie....i know hia parents personally...and guess what?...they are not living or coming from Instabul.....THEY LIVE IN KALAMATA....

  • @musicResistances

On the contrary, Yanni would be pissed off when a geek say that Yanni is from Grease! Yanni knows that he is a Turk and thats it. Don't reply back to me unless you can admit that Yanni is a Turkish national. I know these days Greece is in a lot of grease! But Turkey doesn't have anything to do with it, if only you guys become a dominion state of Turkey everything will be okay. Yanni would love that too ha ha ha

  • @vnck25 if you knew even a little history you would know that Turky has been to a worse place a century before...when greece and italy was taking over her belogings.....Yanni is Greek and he has said this a milion times and don't reply back to me unless you can admit that Yanni is a Greek national( you said it before)...if you hate Greeks just say so...don't insult one of the bigget musical minds

  • @musicResistances ....pes tou ta gamwto......!!!!!exw piasei kouventa me tn aprosaemosto tn vnck25 k den ktlvnei!!!!eleos.............

  • @tstmp

But the fact of the matter is you can't bear it can you. Ha ha ha even the stuff said by one guy makes you to reply that's the fun part!

  • @vnck25 ......god.....i read the other comments of yours...and everywhere you say the same bullshits!!!!!!you are pathetic and i totally pity you...........!!!till now i thought i was talking to a human being but you proved me absolutelly wrong.......so f**k off and i wish one day you will become a real HUMAN........ ;);)......

  • @tstmp You pity me? I pity squred you for replying back to my comments

If what I say bullshit why bother even look at them?

He He He the fact of the matter is U cant bear when someone say Yanni is not Greek and he is from Turkey ( which is actually true!)

  • @vnck25 Really????? Yanni's official website says something else! Several times. And even if he does live in Istanbul now and is a Turkish citizen (although I'd have to double check that before I accept it), he is still Greek by birth!!! But does it really matter in the long run? What matters is that he is an incredibly talented musician who creates the most haunting, beautiful music. Talent knows no cultural boundaries.

  • @vnck25 Here you are again my old friend....this time i wont show any mercy i will be here for anything you say because you say bullshits(in greek: M-Α-Λ-ΑΚ-Ι-Ε-Σ..spelled MALAKIES)and you are retarded( in greek M-Α-Λ-Α-Κ-Α-Σ...spelled MALAKAS)...btw YAnni is greek and i want you to show me evidence which show that he is not

  • @musicResistances

Hello, hello greetings my friend I heard that you guys are in a shit load with the shitty economy of Grease!. Need any assistance from Turkey, the land of gods!!! ha ha ha

I say again its not MALAKAS its MAL MAMA. Yanni cannot be a Greek becuase every is greek to Greeks! Even music!

  • @vnck25 1st you are not in position to teach me Greek...

2nd I can give more than three adresses that say that Yanni is Greek

3rd i think that you should take a right ENGLISh keyboard

  • @musicResistances

Now why do I want to teach you greek, nobody can understand greek. That is why there is a saying " it like greek to me" ha ha ha. The national language of Grease is Turkish, all the posh peopel speak in Turkish and only a handful of peasants like yourself might be still speaking greek.

I dont need addresses, I know the address where Yanni lives its in Istanbul.

I already have a correct enlgish keybord it is your one that types out of the world characters!

  • @vnck25 ok...he's Turkish...the why does he have a greek name?

  • @vnck25 and watch this on and the say that Greeks don't know about music...

    /watch?v=bUdWxWnXtXU

  • @waivedwench ooo my god!!!!of course he is GREEK!!!dont listen to this guy.......!!!....you can see it in wikipedia too...........!!!!!dont need to mention that the title of this song "nostalgia"...is greek!!!!!!

  • @waivedwench look man Yanni is greek... i can tell you everything about it..his name is Yannis Hrisomalis(Γιαννης Χρυσομαλλης)he is from a greek town called Kalamata(Καλαματα) and he has said this to many videos.....just search on Google and you will find it everywhere....vnck25 is just a liar or retarded(or maybe both).

    (

  • @musicResistances Yeah, if I was sold by vnck25 remarks about Yanni's ethnicity (which I wasn't), he/she has lost any support from me after reading the remarks here!! Yanni is Greek because his hairstyle is Turkish??? COME ON.....!!!!!!! Personally, I am going to go with what is written on yanni.com It looked pretty official to me!!

  • OMG... Now THIS... IS the BEST version of this song... I Do NOT like any of the Studio versions, It has to be LIVE - the other version just doesn't work for me, I am SO so mesmerized by this song & this Man's Talent

  • this is my favourite

  • what an amazing music....all greeks we must feel proud of him....i am from kalamata and i even know the house he was born....

It is really sad seeing all this hate comments...

Some things are just true, there are facts and you cannot doubt about them.

It is stupid to believe that Yanni is from another country than Greece...and imagine...Yanni is not the greater greek modern world is gracing. there are more....but i understand your envy...

  • pls people calm down about this thing between greece and turkey.the problem is between the politicians and not between the people of each country.we are brothers and sisters and nothing else.friendship, music and many other things is over anyone and anything.................

  • now, THATS a good song- i like how creative his music is

  • WOW. The point of Yanni's music is to bring from all over the world together. Sadly, all I am seeing are comments of anger and animosity. Please people, enjoy the music! :) It's beautiful despite what others say.

    It's so easy to hate.

  • hello there mister....

I never told that Jesus was Turkish or he was from Greece. I really dont know if the great man had an alias "Yannis Chyrysomallis". The fact tof the matter is that this guy on shown here is Turkish and that it!

And you may find it so odd to find people by the name of Matthew Jenkins who were born in India and also live there niether write nor speak a word of English! So any there is no logic in what you say that a man with that name cannot be born in Turkey.

  • I think he is a jew....

  • why is so people bother bout greek? as wad yanni eve said on his concert in taj mahal, "till now people still asked me am i greek or north american? n i said, im a human being same like you n last i am greek american china india."

please stop those crazy racist discrimination. yanni much more great than u all.

  • Man you are a Mongolian he he he

  • What the fuck are you trying to tell man?

Are you trying to say that Yanni is Chinese or Indian that the dumbest thing I ever heard man. Check your brain you might be having a low level of Selenium which is vital for proper brain function. Eat some pork to increase ur levels of Selenium good luck !

  • Turks have no music, other than barbarian shouts. Actually they have nothing to do with the civilized world. Just take a look at their history... Kills, Armenian genocide, only wars, islam, etc. They have captured other civilizations pretending that they are theirs.. Come on.. Just ignore the barbarians....

  • Turks have a great culture and a rich history its not their fault that there neigbhors are bunch of cowards he he he. Turkey with the help of Egypt will conquor Greece in 2014 if the world does not end in 2012 that is :)

  • ti lete re tourkalades 8a 8elate poli e re oxo xaxaxaxax!!!

  • haha come on he aint turkish he is greek....being hairy doesnt makes you turkish...

  • Now tell me how the hell can he be a Greek when everything in the world is so greek to Greeks lol

This guy must be a Turk.

  • No you are wrong this guy is Turkish, people have misinformed. While at University of Minnesota he was attached to one of these Greek associations that's why people think that he is Greek no this guy is truly a Turk. And just think how on Earth a Greek can come up with things like this, only a Turk can do these stuff.

  • Yanni is Turkish and I know that for a fact.

  • @vnck25 i wonder,what planet are you on??????cause it ain't Earth for sure!!!!!!

This small country with the many islands at East Mediterranean is called Greece, not Turkey!Try some Geography, History, or even Wikipedia. Sweet dreams..the rest of us mentally healthy can enjoy this piece of art...

  • Why are u so pissed off Are you a Greek goat, I know where both Greece and Turkey are in the Map. I am just telling that Yanni is Turk, the fact of the matter is for Greeks everything is greek so how the hell can they know music, this guy must be a Turk only Turks can do great stuff like this

  • @vnck25 the turkey know for music???? hahahahahahahaha what music re asshole....

wake up hit your head in the wall....

from all the world come in my country to listen music to relax in our islands... the greek i slands the islands from the great period of athens, you know periklis??? mayde not beacause yous history began in the jungle.... you take one big blow job of american people after this you start speaking???? hit your ass in the wall to take of the greek condoms.

  • The only thing I know related to Greece is the grease we find when we make pork chop BBQ ha ha ha. Greece was actually a part of the great Ottoman empire and it will be soon again part of Turkey LOL. You Greek goats will then be all be with great Turkish donkeys he he he

  • we never became part of turkey! And for your information the 2nd world war stopped here in the great mountains of Epirus where my grandfather fought the Nazi's!!!Everything was born here in Greece and toy are all so jeallus!!!!!!All great things started here..And the ootomans what do they have to remember only wars about conquest you should be ashamed!!!!!

  • have a life!!!!!!you don't know how to speak in english i'm sorry thats a part of your mongolian culture!!!!!

  • @vnck25 Now 6 month has been passed since my last comment here and i see u still bugging around, i bet you are laughing hard behind this screen on how u r making people answer ur stupid useless discussions , tell u what, get a life, get a job, get a wife, or a piece of paper to write on instead, get anything but before that just make sure u get lost off this page!

    really pity you!

  • @vnck25 -Sweety, first things first, you need to go back to school for world geography. Turkey and Greece are two different countries. Turkey is northeast and Greece is sitting southward. Second, history books are changing all of the time, don't believe everything you hear or read. Third, Yanni is a Greek and not Turkish! Don't talk about someone who you don't know about. Have you met him? I don't think you ever will! My advice to you, pick another battle-trying to be humbled.

  • @Sweetlovingkind

My simple question is why are you so worried about this? My advice is you just mind your own business if you are so savvy about geology, Yanni and Grease etc.

  • @vnck25

Hey you must be some kind of a psycho. There is no other explaination. But I consider that if you think Yanni, who OF COURSE IS GREEK, is a vrwmo-turkish then that's a compliment cause you would really like to have our history and talents. But unfortunately you don't. So get used to be below zero. Or I should say katw apo ta arxidia mas!

  • @alexvasthebest

I would say to a greek goat like you "kaputu kak kak kaak" lolz

If you really think that Yanni is geek and I am dumb psychic, why bother in even replying to my comments?

PS Yanni is Turkish, and the baseline is everything is greek to Greeks ha ha ha

  • @vnck25 You dumb fuck!! Yanni is born and raised in greece !!

  • @kiramtokoon

Why are you pissed off? Grease is so close to Turkey so I bet Yanni would say that he is living close to Grease! he he he

  • @vnck25

First of all it is written Greece!!!! Nottttttttttttttttttt Grease??? you stupid fuck!

Second of all you really are an ignorent gay ass person...

  • @kiramtokoon

You dumb geek goat, its Grease not Greece!!!

  • @vnck25 grease is the musical, you dumb shit!

know what you're talking about before you make a fool out of yourself!
