  • @policechaser Then i pony jellyfish electrosanity there for six months banana tabletop yesterday twentyfor

  • @kaskraker Ah, I see.

  • @kaskraker It's a voice recognition thing lol, it tries to provide subtitles based on audio, and it's obviously a work in progress.

  • @b33p3rz ah thats pretty cool actually :P didn't know that. Hell even if it won't work we can have a laugh

  • Athiest on Fox News talking with Bill O'Reilly. Let the shit storm begin.

  • tide goes in tide goes out the moon controls the tides Bill. Also the being nice to other people there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that base morals like being nice to one and other is genetic and evolved.

  • <3 cenk

  • There's a reason why he said it's the greatest scam.

  • Ana's a gamer? Wow, I didn't think she could be any hotter, I was wrong.

  • Silvermans' face when O'Reilly sprouts his nonsense is epic. It is a monument to every person who has ever had to deal with the mindboggling ignorance of a creationist and nearly had his brains fried in that moment. XD

  • It's like trying to watch two idiot blowhards out blowhard each other. Geez, was David Silverman trying to show he's a bigger douche than O'Reilly?

  • bill o'reilly is mental

  • you athiests belong to satan. You are so full of sin that you cant feel God. Its no our problem that you are weak and have sold yourself to the devil, because you are to proud and stuck up to humbl;e yourself before God. You athiests are corrupt your lives are fool of evil and sin you are greedy liars you curse and steel you commit adultery all day you hate love and mercy if the whole world was like you this place wouldnt last a month. But JESUS Christ is coming and he will judge you

  • @Adriankovalski Full of evil and sin you say... Sweden is 80% atheist, they have a much higher standard of living, and one fifth the homicide rate of the US, which is less than 20% atheist.

Atheists make up ~15% of your country, but less than 2% of your prison population, which is more than 70% Christian. Looks like Christians are the evil sinners here.

  • @Adriankovalski

Jesus had a hundred year time limit before he would come back,

Its been 2000 years, you stupid fuck, he was a scam artist he is not coming back.

  • @Adriankovalski "you commit adultery all day"

    If only I could...

    foreveralone.jpg

  • @Adriankovalski Go fuck yourself.

  • @Adriankovalski:

Explain why atheists are underrepresented in prisons and European countries with 50-80% of ppl who do not believe in god(s) have lower homicide, rape, teen pregnancy, STD, abortion, divorce, drug abuse and infant mortality rates than the US as well as better social care, education, human righst and more freedom of speech?

  • @Adriankovalski aren't Christians not supposed to judge and condemn? because that rant sounds pretty damn full of judgement to a lot of us.

  • athiests cant proove there is no God so they go by faith when they claim there is no God. they are hypocrites. and they never shut up to listen when someone speaks

  • @Adriankovalski

Atheists lack faith you stupid moron.

  • To mrfreestyle, first off we havent stopped evolving, and like it or not there is evidence supporting the notion that you came from a monkey, all evolution is, is genetic mutation that gives a trait that allows that organism to survive more efficiently, and most mutation doesnt do thag so they die off , some examples of mutation is elephantitus or cancer and the reason we havent evolved much is due to our domestication. We have medicine and static environments that don't let mutations reproduce

  • food goes in...shit comes out

    you can't explain that

  • Bill is an act; he is not this stupid irl. He's just playing a character on TV.

  • lol cc on this vid is hilarious

  • Anti-American, Anti Semitic?...Redundant?

  • lol silverman is a dumbass that just doesnt want to look like a hypocrite. we know, oreily knows and the rest of the world knows that.

  • "Tide goes in... tide goes out... You can't explain that!"

    And a meme is born!

  • Perhaps a good way to counter O'Reilly's tactic of spewing a steady stream of blather while you are trying to respond, is to have one of those portable air horns in your pocket and bring it out and blast it in his face and say "shut up for a moment your rude bastard, and I'll answer one of your inane questions".

  • 1:08

    SRSLY??

  • @frog1599 ok whatever dickbiscuit pretty sure all I said was that certain people make me laugh but if in your sick, twisted world that means that I was bullying then I think you need some help.

  • such a random clip at the end about gaming. lol

  • the tide goes in and out because of the moon. tard.

  • Bill O'Reilly couldn't debate his way out of a wet paper bag.

  • I'm a christian, but Bill's arguments were just flat-out stupid.

  • @DP3mo24hofosho Being a Christian doesn't mean you're stupid. I don't judge a group based on one person.

  • The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalm 14:1

  • O'riely cant explain the tides? what a moron.

  • @billionsofidiots You mean "their schools" and "beliefs" and "atheists."

But anyway, can you prove that most people in the world are ignorant fools? If not, don't call everyone an idiot just because they're wearing a cross or star of David around their neck.

And actually, when people "throw their money" at church (also known as a donation), churches use that money to care for the homeless and go on mission trips to places like Latvia and Haiti.

  • The moon makes the tide go in and out. OMG. The moon is God!!!

  • @billionsofidiots well while that is true, that doesnt mean god is fake, as you said it cant be proven he/her/iy/all of the above is real or fake

  • @Pedr6500 That's true as well. However, religion has its opinions about the beginning of the universe and life on Earth, that have been disproven by scientific evidence. So eventhough we cannot know whether God is real or not, we KNOW that religion is a load of crock. And therefore, atheism would seem the proper choice for any rational human being.

  • @billionsofidiots If you are truly agnostic, you wouldn't call believers idiots. You would simply say neither side is right, and move on.

Plus, christians don't claim to KNOW of god's existance. They claim that they believe in a god, which is entirely different.

Atheists, on the other hand, do claim to KNOW everything about the universe and everything in its nearly infinite size.

  • @frog1599 really? im an athiest i dont claim to know theres no god. i dont believe in a god or gods because i have never seen the slightest bit of evidence for any gods existance. that doesnt mean i can say with 100% certenty that theres no god i just have no reason to believe as of yet. also no athiest would claim to know everything. by the way athiesm means not believing in a god. it doesnt mean that you claim to know theres no god.

  • @TMeerkat8 Now that's more like it :)

  • 2:24 what's he saying here i didn't quite catch it. what was the freudian slip?

  • Um, Bill, the tide goes in and out due to the moon's... oh, never mind.

Man, all this "you're an idiot for believing/not believing in God!" shiznit... I've just given up on the question. Hell, at this point, I hope that if when we all die, we end up before God... and he's a SHE. No, wait, even better, a transsexual. A fifty-foot-tall, naked, black transsexual. Who didn't comb her hair.

Then we can all give a show of hands as to which religion rightly called this one!

  • @Montesama314 Your comment made me bust into laughter (in a very positive way mind you). God that was a pure gold comment! :)

  • @Montesama314 Am I detecting both racism and sexism here?

  • @frog1599 Oh no. Believe me, I try to treat women with respect, and racism is an outdated and destructive mindset which I refuse to have, even as a black man against other races. I also hate the use of the victim card by any race (a fellow black man crying racism is almost as annoying to me as a racist). I was just saying that we don't know if there is a god, let alone if God is even a "God" or a "Goddess", but it doesn't matter. There are more tangible and more immediate problems to care about.

  • @Montesama314 i'd pay good money to see the look on jerry falwells face if that were true

  • @sxekilljoy1 Yeah, I'd laugh too.

I'm on the fence when it comes to the question of God's existence. I believe all religions use myth anyway. The Quran isn't ultimate truth, and neither is the Bible. Just because the Bible says to do something doesn't mean you couldn't figure it out with a little common sense (for example: there are financial and emotional consequences when someone is killed). And atheists can't say science is 100% perfect either.

You'll figure it out when you die, right?

  • @Montesama314 But in science - we correct our understanding when we gain more knowledge and more accurate results. I would argue that the essence of science (logic and reason) is perfect... but our understanding is incomplete.

My standing on the god question is as follows:

Theological gods, I would be a Gnostic Atheist.

Personal gods need to accessed on a case to case basis.

And Deistic gods, I would be an Agnostic Atheist... because there are no traits associated to a deistic god.

  • @koolanator "The essence of science (logic and reason) is perfect... but our understanding is incomplete."

That's an interesting way to look at it. Hundreds of years ago, the idea that everything revolved around the earth still made sense considering the ability of scientists at the time (seeing the sun move across the sky). It's a learning process.

By the way, which does each theist classification mean? I've heard there are gnostic/agnostic theists and atheists, but I haven't heard the diff.

  • @Montesama314 Gnostic and Agnostic refer to knowledge. The simplest definitions are: Gnostic meaning "I know" and Agnostic meaning "I don't know".

The common phrases associated to each class are:

Gnostic Theist: "I know God X exists"

Agnostic Theist: "I believe God X exists"

Agnostic Atheist: "I don't believe God X exists"

Gnostic Atheist: "I know that God X does not exist"

  • @Montesama314 To re-iterate my original stance.

I am an Gnostic Atheist to most Theistic Gods simply because such a being cannot exists... in the same way that you cannot have a square circle.

I am an Agnostic Atheist when it comes to Deistic God claims because (by definition) such a God does not manifest itself within our reality, therefore it has no defined traits and cannot be evaluated by evidence. I then choose not to believe it on basic probability. And (continued)

  • @koolanator Have you watch any videos by TheoreticalBullshit? Your comment reminds me of him. :)

  • @TheBiAtheist I'll take that as a complement since I consider TheoreticalBullshit to probably be the most well spoken YouTube personality, ha-ha. So yes, I watch a lot of his videos; but I think the general idea of taking every claim at face value and evaluating them separately was inspired by Matt Dillahunty and other hosts of The Atheist Experience.

Bill O'Reilly: "Evolution goes in, and I came out - You can't explain that"

  • @koolanator Matt Dillahunty is another inspiration for me.

  • @Montesama314 (continued) I then address all other claims of personal Gods on a case to case basis. And what I mean by personal God is... any God who's traits are not perfectly defined in any doctrine. As you've probably noticed... people tend to pick and choose the traits that they desire God to have no matter where they pulled their original inspiration from (bible, torah, kuran). But then the traits have changed, so we must address each claim separately.

  • @Montesama314 To add to the comments on Science. I am an A.I. scientist by trade and I follow the work of Jeff Hawkins quite closely. He also contrasts the belief of "The earth being the center of the universe" and our understanding of intelligence. "If you look at the history of big obstacles in understanding our world, there's usually an intuitive assumption underlying them that's wrong." ~Jeff Hawkins, RSA Conference 2008

This is the source of underlying errors in our understanding of science

  • @Montesama314 nice one.

  • @Montesama314 You mean rastafarianism?

  • @mcnesta80 Well, I don't know what Rastafarians believe. All I'm saying is, no one knows if there IS a God, let alone if God is the God any particular religion says he is... "God" could be a Goddess for all we know!

Both sides need to quit acting like they're better than anyone else.

  • @Montesama314 It was just a lame joke....your vision of God was black and didn't comb his/her hair....black+dreads(+weed+Haile Selassie+Jesus+vegetarian)=Rastafarianism...that's about as much as I know about it.

  • There seems to be an underlying belief if that an atheist knows a little bit more about how the tide works then he's proven that God doesn't exist. I came to belief in God as an adult with my reason intact. But it's said that God hides himself from the proud.

  • *as and * have been. No ball pushes itself. I'm not foolish enough to form a conclusion based on this logic, but I'm also not foolish enough going to say with certainty that everything just appeared randomly. That's an even more absurd contention.

  • Atheism is a tired trend, it's just the new "bully" group in the playground that everyone would rather join than be belittled by. I'm pretty sure Atheists understand Religion is not meant to be taken literally. The idea of there being a mover/instigator/creator, take your pick or whatever it may be is not far-fetched. Everything in our world was created by someone, it's not foolish to assert that the Universe must also be created ass well. It's simple cause and effect.

  • @12Ominous Atheism is only a "trend" if it is the result of a non-skeptical belief system. i.e. buddhism. Otherwise it is usually the result of careful examination of the facts... The Atheist community is overwhelmingly populated by skeptics and critical thinkers.

It is rational to think that there was a "cause" to the universe, however it is illogical to assert "therefore God". That is the leap that skeptics will not take.

  • @koolanator I agree. But "God" which is often used as a metaphor for creator or mover could be anything. A lot of atheists try to trivialize or undermine religion by ragging on people with very specific and literal beliefs. I don't think the idea of a conscious celestial force or even forces whether a tangible figure or an energy of some sort is that much of a stretch. I don't claim to "know" but secretly I like to believe there is something more.

  • @12Ominous Theistic claims are much easier to respond to than deistic. This is why you see a lot of "ragging" on literal beliefs. Arguing the existence of a deistic God has little to no value because both sides are essentially saying "I don't know".

  • @koolanator Yes, this is true. I neglected to make the distinction between theism and deism. But even though claiming to know is absurd and illogical, I still don't like how anti-theists in particular treat theists or those who subscribe to a specific Religion and doctrine. It's eerily reminiscent of the way the Christians treated and viewed the Pagans during the dark ages.

  • @12Ominous As you mentioned, a common deistic claim is that God can be anything. If I were to ask for specifics about God, then the most likely answer would be, "I don't know".

So... if God is simply a label being placed on the first cause and we don't know what God is; it seems to be more honest to say "I don't know" on all accounts... at least to me.

  • @koolanator That is my default response when people as me what I am because I don't know. But that doesn't mean we can't have ideas or imagine what could be. As humans I think its our nature to find reasons to think we are important because to us our lives are important. Deism and Theism I think are just ways that people do that. I don't see anything intrinsically wrong having those beliefs, it's when Group think and Dogma sets in that it becomes a problem.

  • @12Ominous *ask

  • @12Ominous Yeah... there are a bunch of dumb-asses out there... they exist in every group.

I like your word choice... "imagine". I agree, people can imagine what they want; but I urge caution to anyone who lets a single idea dictate their actions (especially if it was supplied by someone else). There is a huge difference between teaching what to think and teaching how to think. I subscribe to the latter...

"Great minds think alike." WRONG! "Great minds think for themselves"

  • @koolanator O, definitely, I agree with all your points here.

  • A meme has been born! XD

  • Tide goes in tide goes out

  • Oh Jesus freaks make me giggle. :) these losers actually believe that some mystical guy who lives in the sky runs the world? Wow. SOMEONE needs to get a life.

  • @xLunarOtaku And you are bullying strangers on the internet. I think someone else needs to get a life as well.

  • There must be a creator. Get facts right.

  • @madmaster333 what facts? there is only speculation..

  • These people are so full of themselves. Why act as if you know when there is nothing for an athiest to know. Who created the earth? or the Universe for that matter? Exactly, most will say evolution but evolution cannot be proven either you see where I am going? Why do athiest defend themselves when there is nothing to defend.

  • @madmaster333 Well first of all evolution has nothing to do with the creation of the world, second why must there been a who?

  • @Danovio Really? Last I checked evolutionists say it did and they dont know anything as well.

  • @madmaster333 Evolution had nothing to do with the creation of the universe. Also evolution on earth is a fact, not a theory.

  • @Ferret9T2 fuck evolution...i didnt come from no monkey. tell me this. if we humans did evolve, then why did we just stop at this homo sapien stage...why arent we contiuing to evolve. arent we suppose to be flying by now. get it through ur ignorant ass head, God is real and evolution is a lie from the devil

  • @MrFreestyle89 U think evolution is a "couple-of-1000-years-job" ? Us homosapiens are just newcomers to the earth ... Dinosaurs ruled the earth for 160 million years

And btw, u can see evolution already .. for example we are growing, we are getting much bigger then ages ago.

  • @MrFreestyle89 You didn't come from monkeys. However, you and monkeys (chimps anyway) share a common ancestor. And we didn't stop, we're still evolving. You're fucking stupid.

  • Atheists are the living proof that God used crack/heroin while creating the humans and as a result some of them ended up being seriously fucked up and these fucked up ppl had children later and they became the Atheists.

  • Hey Moron, Who makes it go around ?

  • (The remaining 500 or so reach into the future and may be seen unfolding as days go by.)

Since the probability for any one of these prophecies having been fulfilled by chance

averages less than one in ten (figured very conservatively) and since the prophecies are

for the most part independent of one another, the odds for all these prophecies having

been fulfilled by chance without error is less than one in 102000 (that is 1 with 2000

    zeros written after it)!

  • @ThePenguinColonel My proof there is God.

  • Agnostic is an adjective, as well as a noun. You can be an agnostic atheist or an agnostic theist. Just as the counterpart to atheism is theism, the counterpart to agnostisism is gnostisism. Hence you can be either an agnostic or gnostic theist or an agnostic or gnostic atheist.

Agnostic atheist - Believes there are no gods

Gnostic atheist - Claims to know there are no gods

    Agnostic theist - Believes there is/are god(s)

Gnostic theist - Claims to know there is/are god(s)

  • @Jostedalsosten You're right. And gnosticism is a silly thing to believe in, whether atheist or theist. Claiming to KNOW everything is absurd. There are more agnostic theists in the world than there are gnostic theists, thankfully. However, almost every atheist I have ever talked to (and I know a lot of atheists) has been gnostic; they claim that they KNOW religion is a myth and a scam and that we KNOW it's a scam as well, which is just ridiculous.

  • @ThePenguinColonel Deists are theists, they believe in a god.

  • @Jostedalsosten

Deists are not theists. Theists believe in a specific god. Deists generally think of god in one of two ways... as a benign first cause or causer, or as a metaphor for the fine-tuning of universal constants.

That's a far cry from theism, which claims there is an invisible man in the sky.

  • @supowit Sorry, but you are simply wrong. The term "theist" does not say anything about the nature of the god(s) in question. Any belief in any god goes under theism, personal or not.

  • @Jostedalsosten

It's not that simple. Sometimes definitions are not black and white. Here is Wikipedia's take:

"While the specific definition of theism given above may exclude deism, deism is included as a form of theism by the most general definition given above."

It sort of depends on your understanding of theism... is it belief in a higher power like God, or is it a belief in a personal, or specific god with known characteristics?

  • 120 Jesus freaks hate that video

  • @billionsofidiots oh yes the bible is truth, and it is proof.

  • Hopefully this religious fanatic fuck who can't seem to get a good haircut can retake the third grade. Hopefully he'll retain something in the decaying mash between his ears.

  • Tide goes in, stain comes out.

  • @KingOfTheKill10001 lol nice

  • @KingOfTheKill10001 You can't explain that! ^_^

  • Science has explained why the tide comes in and goes out, I learnt this when I was about 9.

  • @billionsofidiots Part two: When I first became atheist people confused me and made me think I was agnostic when really I’m atheist.

Agnostic is that you just don’t know almost as if you don’t have an opinion at all.

Atheist is when you don’t know (because its impossible to know) but you THINK that there is no god(s). Please correct me if I’m wrong, I could be sounding like an idiot :D

  • @billionsofidiots Part one: Just because you don’t claim to know doesn’t mean you’re agnostic. If that is the only reason you’re agnostic I would still classify you as atheist. Nobody knows because nobody can know, its a myth. Not all atheists say that there are no gods and they know for sure, Richard Dawkins is an atheist and he says he doesn’t know if gods exist because nobody can know but that he thinks gods don’t exist. Thinking something and knowing something are two different things.

  • "Invisible man in the sky"... What the fuck?

  • to bad science can't explain why people are assholes

  • No, Ann has PSN account.

  • Atheism

  • GIVE ME ANA'S GAMERTAG!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • it's all about money with BOTH groups, on one side you have the religious group getting money from the people that believe in God and on the other side you have the Atheist groups getting money from the people that believe the religious group is wrong...both groups are simply claiming that the other is wrong, an Atheist can't prove God does not exist and a Catholic can't prove he does, so both these groups are the same, they each have strong beliefs on something without being able to prove it...

  • THE YOUNG TURKS? I this the name because your Turkish? LOL, Im so sorry for you. Epic Fail

  • @heybonus72 Lets me get this straight. You went on a video that is old as F and to tell TYT which is also an old organization to tell them their organization name is fail? Do you have a life?

  • @heybonus72 Is that all you had to contribute. Why not contribute something worthwhile rather than being an ass.

  • It goes to show the sad state of the conservative movement, when this man is their leader.

  • @billionsofidiots Anti-theists are people that know there is no god. Atheists are people that don't believe insomething just because they're are told.

  • STOP WITH FUCKING MISLEADING TITLES THIS IS NOT A REAL NEWS NETWORK

  • Thor is from Asgaard. ...moron. I would have destroyed O'Reilly in a religious debate. Men with "nipples" anyone?

  • I just watched this video to find the guy's face of the "Are you serious" meme.

  • "Tides go in, tide goes out... you can't explain that. You can explain why the tide goes in... You can't explain it."

    What???

  • Without religion science is boring, without science religion is lost. Whether you believe in God or not, it's your choice, I believe in God. There is no problem with that and if you think so, well you are clearly not wise. Acknowledge other cultures, you don't need to share their culture, but acknowledge it. Sure you may not agree with them, but they will always exist.

  • @THE1PAINOF1THE1GAME

    "Without religion science is boring"

No it's not, science is still fascinating w/o religion. Maybe for YOU science is boring w/o religion.

"Whether you believe in God or not, it's your choice"

Chose to believe Santa, go on, I double dare you, try it!

  • the young turks always have good stories but as soon as i see its them i kinda have to close the video

  • Tide goes in...tide goes out...Mohammad does it Bill...or the Pope....or Harry Potter. Do you use a script?

  • Tide goes in tide goes out... Really Bill?

Saying that because you can't find an explanation in something, hence it must be God is stupid. Arguement from ignorance and a God of the Gaps arguement (A logical fallacy). Fox should be taken off the air for it's corruption.

  • but do we know why the tidal shape is ellyptic? why it climbs and falls twice instead once a day?

  • the worst thing of all is that Silverman cannot explain it...

Any 12 year old should know that it has to do with the gravitational force of the moon and any 20 year old should know that that is incorrect too.

  • @jinxxedlikeshit To be fair though, there is a lot of pressure being on live Tv, the fact he didn't point it out and totally ruin Bill o'Reily made it disappointing, but I can still somewhat maintain an understanding of what's happening. Furthermore, at least he managed to compare other religions along side with Christianity, but I think it would have been much more amusing for Bill to say it to Dawkins who would call him out immediately.

  • @strkszone Not to me, i could explain it to anyone.

OTOH i'm a professor of microbiology.

Richard won it, no doubt on that one, but it was made by technicalities. I would have have brought up the irreverant species that do change a year or Darwins moths or what have you...

I could also bring up the DNA of our fellow apes...

  • The tide of water goes in and out because of the moon. Google it.

  • Tide goes in and tide goes out because of gravity... come the fuck on.......

Bread goes in, toast comes out... you can't explain that... I'ts God.

  • @jinxxedlikeshit Especially when he burned the picture of Mary into the Toast.. it's God!

  • @strkszone Yeah, that is even special pleading... and recognized in US courts as part of LAW... i am not shitting you in the least on this.

US courts recognize the psycho christians as different from the psyho others.

    AND THEY RELEASE THEM!

    Really, they do.

  • I'll say it again: we may know why the tides goe in and out, but do we know why gravity exists? Here, to make it easier on you all, I'll answer it for you: no, we do not.

  • Can we have atheist billboards in California?

  • We don't know why gravity between objects exists. We just know that it exists.

  • I have to say this was a disappointing Young Turks video. O Reilly got caught in his words, but there was another half of the interview where the interviee was very much stumped. I don't appreciate one sided commentary. Still an excellent job in catching O Reilly.

  • lmao tide goes in tide goes out ahahahahahaha

  • i'm just thankful that the war on christmas didn't go nuclear this year!
