  • "World is changing." ;-)

  • That looks beautiful.

  • I saw this incredible Human Hope Amidst Incredible Odds film at the Mpls. Film Fest last night, April 16, 2011......the symphony director was present and interviewed afterwards. Anyone who can see this film should....and help them out! It's this type of enterprise that makes the world a better place and hope for peace.

  • Just saw this at African Film Festival in NYC yesterday. Amazing film! They said it should be coming out in DVD today (though I couldn't find link yet).

  • ...какие красивые люди! В Амстердам! посмотрю фильм!

  • Excellent trailer and I'm looking forward to seeing it in Chicago.

  • what the name Did you know the song you paid for around 45,000 € for only 2 minutes from the 1:29

  • 1:29 heisst das lied ?! so gail :D

  • sorry,i just believe this is another politically correct movie, cheer up the poor blacks with nothing but words so they accept their fate of being robbed of their resources:wow, exotic,we never knew blacks deal with classical music, not only entertain us on stadiums at olympic races&football games!music makes them forget!cheap entertainment for the lavish north-americans,west-europeans&(mid&far)east-asians/i'm eu white&hate such selfish cream over crap.let's stop african robbing&selfish hypocrisy!

  • @kinunomichi1

I see where you coming from an di understand. But i'm congolese youth in Europe and I think its just great too know that we are capable to do anything we want if we just believe in us.I think we have a bad image of ourselfs and things liek this and all the other great music and other artistic products from Congo help and give confidence and pride.

But i understand what you are saying and i agree that white people probably are going to see it like you described.

  • @franciso7:not all whites do,i'm one of them&i see it this way&others, too.but, sorry,it's hollow pride to think one can do anything one wants only by singing:1st thing for sick societies is fundamental moral education, but the current economic relations between the processing countries&the raw material nations thrust the latter deeper into mud while trying to have them sing while buried.it's lack of soul from the former to pay back by illusive music(just like drugs)instead of needed education!

  • @kinunomichi1

This is a typical case of not understanding eachother.I assumed you are black and anwsered to a certain mentality that some black people have.I you assumed that I am one of those ingorant optimistic "believers".Well i m not like that usually and I dont think "all" white people are like i dscribed. And i think there is a contradictio in calling me educated and still assuming the thing i said before.

Fact is: wohout this movie i would be ignorant about this orchestra.

  • @kinunomichi1

But yeah I'm sure that it takes more of course to make things better.Just an hour ago I critizised somebody who was prainsing the congolese brewery.

The reason for my first very positive comment was on a very human or even personal level. Its was really about selfesteem and believing in yourself because we also have a huge problem with that. Its not the solution of course but congolese art made and makes people give the country attention...that we need.

  • @kinunomichi1

You can compare it to Obama becoming president. It doesnt mean that the world is or will be a better place now but it helpled people who are persued that they can never "make it" believe in themselfs.

  • Will you show it in Dubai too???
