Hey Tom,

I understand your excitement!

When I first saw the T.I.E. fighters appear in Star Wars "A New Hope" I was smitten.

I was rather young at the time, but was struck by the unconventionality of the craft!

I was pretty excited when AMT released their T.I.E. fighters model kit in the early-ish 90's?

But they were too small for my liking.

The FineMolds kit is awesome, but still very small.

Anywho, that looks like a great kit, and I am happy for ya!

I think the tiles on the wings- the fact they are uneven looks good. Individually laid, extra detail to pick up when filming. Freakin cool model tho! cannot wait....

Yeah, I agree after thinking about it. It was more of a note than any form of disappointment. I expect once the satin black goes down, that will all but disappear.

After a week of sitting around, I re-boxed it last night to go on the shelf. I miss staring at it already, but it took up huge space as was.

I've likely got some stupendous news about this kit I will be sharing later on. Nothing is definite-definite yet.
