But the true power of God is in the pure gospel, where you will find forgiveness , grace, love. Religion is mans weakness trying to pretend it is strong. I've learned that it is a relationship with Jesus. The institution that most call the church today is steeped in religion to the point that Christ or His apostles wouldn't recognize it at all. The church that is the bride of Christ would not hole up in a building and expect sinners to come to it. @7moseley7 i have no issue with that. We both know Christ is God. There is very little difference actually whether manifestations or persons, He still accomplishes His will in us. He is still one God. In fact I respect your churches, however, they add a little heaviness to being a Christian, I was there 10 years, and since i left i can only say He has never left me, just like the bible says. My pastor 'prophesied' I would be lost in 2 years if I left. But i forgive him.
@musicmusing Its not that our churches put emphasis on being a christian. Some people just lack wisdom on how to show someone how to live for God, with standards and what not. (EVEN THO WE ARE RIGHT.) The apostles didnt tell lost people how to dress,act, look, and be, etc. They told the churches in the epistles. Some people need to have the wisdom to make sure ppl are actually livin for God right before they push a standard.. Bibile says to do things decently and in order..

get real proud2bpentecostal. I have attended a lot of mostly "black" UPC churches and there is a continuous organ played and the preaching is different from those in the mostly white UPC churches. check it out sometime.

Let's be cool now. First off, this man was excited about Jesus. He's familiar with the black history of spiritual-filled worship. Now yes, saying that a "black spirit" came over him wasn't cool, but me as a black person understood what he meant. As blacks we carry a great quantity of soul and he was moved by that. I'm flattered for his love for us. So I don't condemn him for what he said, but I'm sure he took some time to realize what he said. Bless this man.

GOD is a spirit john 4:24. He made the body of Christ and dwelled there. Christ was fully man and fully God but the spirit that was in him was not his, but it was God.

@7moseley7 ...nowhere does this imply in any way that Jesus and the Father are the same person. Jesus is God in the flesh, not the Father in the flesh. Nowhere is that term taught in the bible. Who is the Father? God. Whos is Jesus? God. Who is the Holy Spirit? God. I will say again that I am not in the least bit confused as to Who the Trinity is. I am not foolish as to believe that the Trinity is 3 different gods. It's not a good analogy to use to example of 3 plumbers to prove the manifestations of God....that's a very weak example. There is nothing about a man that's worth using to explain God. Are you sure you have a relationship with Jesus? Thanks...but I think I'll stick with Matthew 28:18-20..and Jesus's doctrine :)

I've learned that it is a relationship with Jesus. The institution that most call the church today is steeped in religion to the point that Christ or His apostles wouldn't recognize it at all. The church that is the bride of Christ would not hole up in a building and expect sinners to come to it. I ask those that call themselves apostlalic this one question...how is your community and world different because of your ministry? Is it self or Jesus Christ that people see in you?

The music ministery of the UPCI is named "The Black Ministery" it however has been changed to "The african-american ministery" by David Bernard. So notice when Pastor Mangun Said he fel a Black Spirit, Music started playing during hi preaching..

This man is a great man of God, and he reads the same Bible as you do. And knows more about it than you.
When the Apostles casted out devils they did it using the name of Jesus for it to happen immediately. That's all he was saying when he said that.

@musicmusing I already know about the trinity, the doctrine, where it came from! the doctrine contradicts itself. I went to a baptist church for alot of my life. I havent talked to that old church in ahile and ppl there didnt know i converted and they offered me to teach at VBS! I know the Trinity and i know its false! there are not 3 persons of God! GOD is numerically ONE, NOT AS ONE UNIT WITH 3 IN THAT UNIT, BUT ABSOLUTELY ONE as the BIBLE teaches.

@7moseley7 i have no issue with that. We both know Christ is God. There is very little difference actually whether manifestations or persons, He still accomplishes His will in us. He is still one God. In fact I respect your churches, however, they add a little heaviness to being a Christian, I was there 10 years, and since i left i can only say He has never left me, just like the bible says. My pastor 'prophesied' I would be lost in 2 years if I left. But i forgive him.

@musicmusing Its not that our churches put emphasis on being a christian. Some people just lack wisdom on how to show someone how to live for God, with standards and what not. (EVEN THO WE ARE RIGHT.) The apostles didnt tell lost people how to dress,act, look, and be, etc. They told the churches in the epistles. Some people need to have the wisdom to make sure ppl are actually livin for God right before they push a standard.. Bibile says to do things decently and in order..

And when Christ poured out his spirit, It was the Holy spirit which is God. See how it makes full circle there.. When he robed himself in the flesh of Christ he didnt stop being the father. When he gets ahold of us as the holy ghost he didnt stop being the father.. Hes great enough to do all this simultaneously..

get real proud2bpentecostal. I have attended a lot of mostly "black" UPC churches and there is a continuous organ played and the preaching is different from those in the mostly white UPC churches. check it out sometime.

Let's be cool now. First off, this man was excited about Jesus. He's familiar with the black history of spiritual-filled worship. Now yes, saying that a "black spirit" came over him wasn't cool, but me as a black person understood what he meant. As blacks we carry a great quantity of soul and he was moved by that. I'm flattered for his love for us. So I don't condemn him for what he said, but I'm sure he took some time to realize what he said. Bless this man.

Deep down south, the faces have multiple colors. The souls of the spirits, culture, language and love of the Lord is the same. Presching the Holy Ghost has no color, only devine annointing.

I am white and I think the sytle That Black ppeople have when they have church is GREAT! And it is different from most whites. And if you like our style go ahead and get a white spirit. I dont mind. But be proud that we like and love the way the Black people worship and Preach. A very good thing. Not trying to make fun of or hurt any race. Lighten up and enjoy the video.
