Golly! I only got to see my WGSD in pictures from 3 weeks on up so I missed this diabetically sweet phase of cuteness. They grow so quick & change from a helpless baby, all legs & floppy ears to swift legged & fleet of foot, ears pointed up & ready to get silly with the tug toys in a matter of 2 weeks. Thanks for sharing this sickeningly sweet video with the world. WGSDs are just too cute in all stages & you lucky folks get to bring more of them into the world! :)

You know what one of the best things is about puppies? Their breath. I don't know why I like it so much, but it smells sweet, and warm, and it fits them so much. And then they grow up... phew, then we gotta bring out the toothbrushes.

By the middle of their lives it may be there, but so are our shoes, rubber on chewing toys, cockroaches (in Billy Jean's case) and some other things she gently put by my feet after chewing it until it became unrecognizable. this brought a tear to my eye. we bottle fed a white gsd from the time she was 3 days old. we didn't know if she would make it. and she looked like a little polar bear. at 3 weeks old she would scoot a couple of feet and pee a little spot, then she would scoot and pee again. she's almost 5 years old and her name is Puddles. she has since learned to potty outside. she is my best friend. if you see me, you will see her. she's my sweetheart.

Want to hear something sad? My friend's dad raised a white German Shepherd from a tiny little puppy, and then it died of old age at 16. My friend's dad showed us super 8 footage of when his deceased dog was a puppy. I don't think I've ever heard someone cry so hard in my entire life!
