um a tad upset at how the vet staff seemed to find this so funny? If my cat had a big infection like this, i would be worried, not giggling and laughing...
Well that sucks that you're unable to get problem fixed. Sometimes considering the cat's situation is needed and euthanasia can be the right answer. Good luck with your veterinary misfortunes.
My cat has been suffering through this, terrible necrosis, puss & terrible smell. The tissue is "hard" & regrew, separating the stitched skin from the first surgery. The scumbag vet (lawyer in a white coat) can't give me a conclusive answer, even with the biopsy that it is cancer. But, according to her she "bets her life" that it cancer based on the "12 years" of experience. My boy is suffering and the answer is more test , more money & more waiting. Went to other vets, they are all crooks!
pus smells like rotten meat

Abscesses are extremely easy to treat once you drain them. If it had been a surgery I can guarantee we wouldn't have been so dorky. :)

Modern medicine (humans included) has become nothing more than pseudo-science, "lawyering", & "guess work in a white coat."
