i just took this today! i feel releived:) btw its not an abortion pill, its not even developed yet!! XD it just prevents the sperm form fertilizing the egg
The people against birth control are thinking of the fetuses, but not the women who are having them. Not everyone is ready to be a mother. Not everyone WANTS to be a mother. It's about the choice, not the killing.
This sort of information is so important. I have just posted a video response from England which shows that women here can get the morning-after pill from a pharmacist without having to visit their doctor first. It is a brief extract from a DVD originally made a local branch of the british National Health Service. I hope that is okay with you. Best Regards: Albert.
Today. It's $35. Thankfully she's 17. It's always good to have some on hand. Although nothing really happened their was a tear in the condom... Better safe than sorry
@becauseican66 Sorry, I tried to click the thumbs up button and accidentally hit the thumbs down. I can't figure out how to un do it now. Bugger. You're lucky on the price. It cost me $50. I keep it on hand as a back up.
i've luckily never had to use this cause im on the pill, but i'm happy i've learned about it. It doesn't protect againt std's. so please wear a condom!
I do however think we need to stop using the term 'back up your birth control with emergency contraceptioin'. Birth control, when used properly, does not need a backup. If a woman is using her birth control correctly she does not need to use EC if the condom breaks/comes off or isn't there.
@joyfulwands That phrase is meant to convey that Plan B is not meant to be used in place of regular birth control. It's meant to be a back-up method.
Once, my BF's condom leaked. I was on the pill, but I wasn't perfect about taking it. I followed the procedure for missed pills on the included pamphlet. I was not at a fertile part of my cycle anyway. I used Plan B just to be on the safe side. I probably would not have fallen pregnant anyway, but then I got some peace of mind. Not pregnant.
Here in canada it only costed me 30 buks and I was 16 and just went to the pharmacy and got it.

if this is abortion, so are condoms.
this stops the egg and sperm from ever meeting, therefore no child has even begun to form.

EC is an amazing option!
