the plot between the first three prinve of persias was excellent especially for sands of time but forgootten sands wasnt so good since there wasnt much of anything to put in between warrior adn sands
i played WW, T2T and this one and i must say this game has something really annoying whenever the camera goes around (which is quiet common) i find it (somehow) disturbing. the water idea is awesome but the fighting is EXTREMELY BORING and the environment is pretty much the same... if you ask me:
graphics: MODERN!
soundtrack: WW :D
Violence: WW
Combat: WW (many secondary weapons and many enemies) + T2T (swift kill O.O)
environment: less dark than WW and less repetitive... maybe T2T...
The combat is plain boring. The platforming, however is really good with the water and recall parts but idk why the usual sand powers were cut out. The control the elements in combat is nothing but a gimmick. Mainly why the game fails is because of the failed plot. Razia is a poor companion compared to Farah; Ratash is no where as scary and mysterious as the Dahaka and Malik as a personal enemy pales to the tainted prince because his relationship with the prince was underdeveloped.

Above everything, this game featured the easiest set of Trophies I've ever had to earn so I recommend this game to anyone who is looking to earn a Platnium Trophy wihout having to work too hard. I miss the old combat system, looking from above with swams of enemies was disappointing to say the least. The plot was indeed a lot weaker, but I didn't really find anything wrong with the graphics, it's not as good as assassins creed 2, but it wasn't that noticeable.
I wouldve liked less enemies. They seem much summer and slower in the Forgotten Sands than the Sands of Time. In the Sands of Time, you had to block, parry and dodge. This should be called "The Forgotten Block", as it seems the Prince has forgotten how to block. The combat in this game was good but the enemies couldve used their swords more skillfully and we shouldve been able to block attacks.

SANDS OF TIME was so fokcing good, one the the best first games that ive played.
WARRIOR WITHIN was so focking cool too, in it the fights and the story were perfects, and the music was so good.

I am a Big fan of everything that is Prince of Persia starting with 1989 and ending with the 2008 Reboot (All tough I would have liked more of a challenge considering I was fighting an all powerful Satanic Good)
This game however, felt like the guys at Ubisoft ware only trying to rip of the success of the Prince of Persia Movie.
The princes face looks like it was inspired by The Grinch, and the combat was just... Bad
And the animations of the prince are stolen from the 2008 prince

I'm not trying to say SOT is a bad game, I'm just saying it definitely wasn't as good as WW and also keep in mind that without WW we wouldn't have any of the later games.
All-and-all, WW (for me) is the best game in the series, no doubt.

Assassin's Creed's freerunning was entirely inspired and based on the Prince of Persia games, but the PoP engine was of course outdated and so they made a new one. So when new PoP games came out, they're using their own updated engine which was inspired from Prince of Persia in the first place.

@why0isnt0this0workin this game was made using the same engine assassins creed used, therefore it could of looked as good or even better than AC, but for some reason it didn't and that's why he points it out.. dont get me wrong i thought the graphics looked pretty good too but when u compare graphics to AC i see the difference, and its big.

this is a good game.my review:
+ nice detailing of environments
+ wall running is awesome
- fucking up the prince's looks
- fucking up the combat system
- a little boring story
- some animations are unreal(like u can jump on a wall and then run up for some distance-thats bullshit.unreal!!)

I think that's Yuri Lowenthal playing the Prince. he played him in Two Thrones. I don't know about Sands of Time but Warrior Within had a different actor for the Prince

@Bortherhood2 fuck YOU.warrior within in the best POP ever!!! sands of time started it,but WW made it better.that game has the best combat system ever and the most rewarding.the story is compelling,the prince is dark and unforgiving.the art is surely one of the best,the atmosphere and "attractive" and dark.the music is also is SO well done.metal music the grinchy way.kaileena is lovable.at that time that game told suck a compelling story.i wanna see WW remastered and back and kicking! WW 4eva!!!

@Bortherhood2 haha lol.fuck WW? that was the BEST pop EVER.and infact one of the best games ever.sands of time may have started it,but WW perfected it.the prince in the first game was a little sissy,but in warrior within,he was a true prince,a true MAN.even chuck norris wouldnt be able to handle that guy.and not to talk about the story and the characters.

@Bortherhood2 SOT might have started it all but Warrior Within made EVERYTHING better: Platforming, Graphics and especially COMBAT. The combat in WW was awesome, where you could have combined tons of great combos together to create some really brutal attacks.
I'm not trying to say SOT is a bad game, I'm just saying it definitely wasn't as good as WW and also keep in mind that without WW we wouldn't have any of the later games.
All-and-all, WW (for me) is the best game in the series, no doubt.

@Minidude110 thign is... pricne of persia wa smade BEFORE assassins creed, and it even had acrobatics there. so the first assassinscreed might ben made because the first and secodn games of pricne of persia was made.. BTW i dont play pricne of persia, only assassinscreed... but my bro plays pricne thingy... :D

@Minidude110 They are made by the same exact developer. It's not copying. Assassin's Creed's freerunning was entirely inspired and based on the Prince of Persia games, but the PoP engine was of course outdated and so they made a new one. So when new PoP games came out, they're using their own updated engine which was inspired from Prince of Persia in the first place.

Then how come at the start of the game he says "Nobody remembers my adventures except for me"?
I know why he says that, he says it because at the end of warrior within, he wipes out the past so the first 3 games never happend
So, if that's the case, why did he say that? I could understand if it takes place after warrior within but apparently, it dosen't

@ninetalescommander you really understood the story? in sands of time he had that adventure (all that fat guy's kingdom changed by the sands etc) and turnes back time so its like it never happened... in warrior within he changes his fate. and the first game actions never happened. in sands of time he killed the vizier... in the the two thrones the vizier is alive bechause the prince changed the timeline. and forgotten sands is between sands of time and warrior within. got it now?

@ninetalescommander it does take place after sands of time,the reason no one remembers is because in the sands of time game he stabs the dagger into the hourglass and everything went back in time then you go and save farah from the vizier and you tell her everything that happened and she doesn't remember.

@daisyvsshurandy Fuck no it's all about the original 1989 classic! My personal favorite is the 2008 Prince of Persia but I don't think anyone else agrees with me. Sands of Time used to be the best but it doesn't hold up as much anymore.
