  • this sucks !!! remove or give it some sound !

  • Jackass

  • next time don't forget to upload sound too ;P

  • to loud for ya pussy

  • Couldn't hear the sound. That is what it sounds like.

  • The pipes are just for show, it is really one of those new electric bikes

  • This is a stock VTX 1800 with cobra pipes installed. I couldn't believe how silent it was.

  • no sound at all..

  • what sound?? it sounds like the quietest motorbike ever. hahahahaha :)

  • sOUND ?????? ?

  • mi vtx running with rineharts pipes sound bad ass i get compliments every were also runnning pwr commander III and kN filter bishes

  • Sounds pretty quiet to me brotha...lol...

  • SOUND????????????????????????

  • HD vs Metric......bah bah bah, my penis is bigger then your penis! Just f'en ride, have fun, and for Gods sake just get along!

  • You think that's bad? Try vuvuzela.

  • yea these bikes and 90% of all honda cruisers sound like ass. Most hondas should just keep their mufflers, they sound so bad they give metric cruisers a bad name. If you want a truly good sounding metric cruiser your best bet would be yamaha hands down. All yamaha V twins sound good with pipes

  • sounds like you need a power commander

  • As far as sound goes,,, I can't hear my Goldwing. Noise is exhausting,, :).

  • idiots!! does not matter what u ride, if you ride you r part of a society that will never fade, and as a rider you carry on the heritage.and i would help a metric or hd, any time of the day week or year. I have 5 generation of riders in my family. all of them have owned hd and metric. Building them both from ground up. Metrics sound alot like hd. back in the day not at all. hd has a sertan grunt to it, but the metrics are next to them, especially yamaha and kawasaki. i still think suzuki is a no

  • all metric twins sound like crap period. You think your metric twin sounds awesome until a harley or S&S pulls up along side of you and then you realize just how lame your rice burner sounds...

  • @Chumpy0071 What I realize when a Harley pulls up alongside me, is what an overpriced, underengineered, poorly constructed hunk of shit the machine's rider got taken for, while I count how many drops of oil will drip from his crankcase and hit the pavement befor the light turns green. And my VTX 1300 single pin crank "riceburner" w/ Kuryakyn Pro-R Hypercharger and V&H Big Shots w/ BCT Monster Baffles, all tuned with PCIII sounds quite good actually. Not sure what you're talking about, dipshit.

  • @lickascrotum @lickascrotum

You just stick to your cloned chrome plated plastic jap machine. Harley is the best selling bike in the world and the one the most copied. These jap clones are made for punks that have no mechanical ability whatsoever. Your metric trash has no history or heritage whatsoever. Metric (Jap) bike makers have lurked in the shadows for 40 years cloning and copying everything HD does. They have never had an original thought. These bikes are made for little punks like you...

  • @Chumpy0071 actually, hondas are the #1 selling bike in the world. I bought I honda because Iliked the honda, not becasue I couldnt afford a harley. If I wanted a harley I would have went and got one from a dealer with a jacked up interest rate, and I'd be paying for it for the rest of my life.

  • @lickascrotum

The only reason you don't have a harley is money - your just not successful enough in life to be able to purchase the best. I have 50k worth of HDs in my garage - could sell them and buy a "fleet" of metrics - sorry its not about quantity or price. I pulled over to help a stranded metric biker one day - he spent the whole time telling me how awesome my bike was and that some day he was going to get one - as a matter of fact I told him he had a nice bike but he was not happy...

  • @Chumpy0071

I will post no more here - you just don't have the 35 years of ownership and biking experience I have. Why am I wasting my time here....

  • @Chumpy0071 well first off. Metric cruisers are generally more reliable than HD's. Harley never really had a reputation for reliability in the first place.

Metric Sports bikes generally don't last that long because of what they are build for. Speed. Any engine revving that high most of the time isn't going to live that long. Same shit how a formula 1 race car has to have it's engine rebuilt after every race. And as for HD's. They aren't really uncommon bikes, Customs get more stares than HD's

  • @EpiDemic117 well said bro

  • @EpiDemic117 "Metric Sports bikes generally don't last that long because of what they are build for." I have a 99 zx-9r with almost 50k and it has never had any major work done and i still beat the shit out of it. . . a lot!

  • @obamasuxacock 50k aint nothin, try getting it to 100k. and if you properly maintain it, it's gonna last alot longer than one who doesn't. engines that rev very high like most sports bikes don't live as long, but if you used it just for commuting and didn't always race it, they could go for a loooooooong while!

  • @Chumpy0071

And as my point for build quality and engineering

Honda = Dual pin crank (very little vibration), fuel injected, liquid cooled engine with Shaft drive

Harley = single pin air cooled with belt drive.

Harley also does not update their lineup that frequently or at all for the least part with the VRSC being the only exception and bike that i actually like.

Honda is about every 5 to 8 years outputting a newer, lighter, more powerful, and more refined version. I also do not hate HD.

  • @Chumpy0071 I just can't stand their ignorant fan base. Half the riders don't know jack shit about the company they are posing for and especially how they were getting their asses handed to them in the 70's when they were owned by AMF. The only thing that saved HD then was the retarded Tariff on imports. Which damaged some of our economy. After it was bought from AMF THEN and only THEN did they start getting good again.

  • @Chumpy0071 Even Sony barger preferred imports over Domestics because they were just plain better built and made. He said that he could buy a St1000 and ride that thing out of the factory 110 MPH all day long. But the only reason why the hells angels didn't switch was because they didn't see some of the Japanese companies all of a sudden going from 50cc to 400cc to eventually 1000cc.

Fun fact: Did you know that Honda was the first to implement disk breaks on a motorcycle?

  • @Chumpy0071

Keep telling yourself that. I paid cash for both my VTX's tore one down to the frame and then totally customized it. Glad you have $50k in HD's...I'm very proud of you....hope you fell better about yourself.

  • sounding like the bike from aristocats the disney movie

  • Sound like a jack hammer hitting a hollow oak tree with racoons trying to escape..

  • New crush gaskets at the exhaust ports? Neither the bike nor the Cobra exhaust should sound that bad.

  • sound like gunfire fire man

  • I agree with Eddie, you need a power commander and a new intake filter. I have a VTX1800 and put Cobra pipes on along with those changes and it sounds awsome.

  • All you need to do is buy a power comander, you cant expect it to sound good with out remaping the fuel injection system.

  • idk something sounds wrong with ur bike ,ive got a 1800 vtx with V&H big shots pipes sounds awesome ,

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! make it stoooooooop!

  • i shed a tear for you.that was bad.

  • Same thing happened to me... but after about 10 mins of playing with the carb and a/f screw, I had it sounding beautiful!

  • check out the vtxoa forum for a fix

  • sounds like a bad 80s song

  • I'm sorry I mean no disrespect to you or your bike, but id put the stock exhaust back on if I were you. No offence meant.

  • yo harley man...harleys, and indians really created the cruiser class and until 10 years ago, no one could touch you. now, watch out, especially the last 5 years, the metrics have finally arrived. road star, stratoliner/roadliner class from yamaha is really challenging everyone to up their game. alas, the cruiser division no longer belongs to harleys. HD has to really up their game. in the end, it is good for us, the consumer and cruiser lovers. i respect HD, i love yamaha.

  • @taro1958

I agree, the metrics simply need to keep copying Harley more and more each year until they get it right.

  • @taro1958

I agree and HD hasnt upped at all since about 1940.

  • metric bike, not harley

  • i've got Cobras on mine and everytime I fire it up I shoot my load. It's the best. Sounds like a baffle is loose maybe? Or an echo as little boy lovin Harley man below me proposes.

  • sounds like it was in a shop or something where it echos. I am not a big fan of metrics cause they dont hold a moment in time other than right now. A few have transcended this fate only to be chopped into a cool custom and more will follow but in the end they will all end up in the scrap heap as I ride by on my big twin.........................

  • dan, that sound sucks!!!

  • Hey jackass, loud pipes save lives.

  • Sounds like a lumphammer in a washing machine.

  • Damn, I didn't think anything could sound worse than the dual pin 1100 Honduhs...

  • hey art it still sounds freakin terrible even a year later! ha!ha!

  • sounds like a tap dancer

  • sounds rhythmic. i like it.

  • It sounds like a car with a bad muffler

  • Don't buy jap crap and expect it to sound like an EAGLE!

  • i never liked the sound of a vtx , i did hear one that sounded ok

  • Sounds like an old John Deere B.

  • hahahahahahhaha

  • You ass....you killed your bike! LOL!!!

  • that is horrible..

  • i shed a tear for the bike when i heard this.lets all have a moment of silence.

  • i think there is a fix for that but im not sure what it is thats a common problem i hear

  • I'm no professional on the drums.... what's he playing?

  • ha ha ! A good one :)

  • DRUMS.....That is funny as hell.

  • sound like it need a can of bearings lol

  • something sounded not right....were you bleeding air somewhere?

  • I got rid of my Cobras and got some Vance and Hines. Much better sound.

  • Yes, that's pretty bad
