  • are you gonna get naked or what??

  • There ARE people that have tourette's that have little to no vocal tics. However, tourette's is diagnosed during childhood. You seem too much older (in this video) to have been diagnosed with tourette's.

(Another fact is that more males have it than females.)

  • i have the same thing

  • Hi - have you heard of PANDAS? Also check out rodeocowgirl131 on youtube, and the twelve girls in LeRoy NY -- did you have gardasil? Get well soon -- hope this helps!

  • I think your beautiful

  • you shuld have shirt that says "WARNING arms are going everywhere"

  • the finger thing was wierd.... :\

  • ru croation ????????

  • You are amazing you brighten up my day I absolutely love you. <3 <3 <3

  • oh my goodness, there are so many terribly rude comments on here! Well i wish you well with this thing, i've had some sort of bad movement disorder since middle school, im now 18. I've never gone to my doctor or any doctor to see what it is and you make me want to figure out what it is like you did.

  • Your so strong and mature. I like your voice it's strong than mine and I'm a guy I like you.

  • Hahah omg girl you have me cracking up.

  • lol once I kicked myself in the face... but not because of a tick... just because i can kick really high

  • LMFAO you are so cute, I love you.

  • Show your neurologist this video.. so he can evaluate your ridiculousness!

  • You r so pretty I love u

  • i almost cried hwhen tourettes was making fun of his brother:( lol

  • Possibly it's tourettism. Tourettism is a chronic tic disorder that produces similar symptoms to tourettes, but without the presence of the actual tourettes syndrome. I have tourettes, but not very bad. I want to be diagnosed but my vocal tics have pretty much died down for the most part and I now only have motor tics.

  • i have motor+vocal tics, but i cant be diognosed with tourettes till having these for a year, damn:/

  • I love your videos! Your too much. They put me on Celexa for depression, it had doing weird tics. I couldn't sit still. So I stopped taking it.

  • wow it all sounds exactly how i feel. i have a tic disorder aswell. very complicated life. though i am going to be assesed again in the summer, because i've developed vocal tics and my tics in general have gotten worse. very hard to live with.

  • test

  • i was dignased with motor tics yesterday

  • i was dingnosed with motor tics yeaterday i hate the tics

  • omg i hope you die

  • @SpacedNL

    What is your problem?

I've seen all your comments. Do you think you are funny? Nobodies laughing.

And you are making a fool of yourself.

You dont hurt me by saying these things, but I wonder what is wrong with you.

I offer nothing but respect. I ask that you do the same.

  • @idranktheseawater

No problems here im good thank you...

I'm not trying at all, i think you are funny :) Your petty and insignificant problems are hilarious and provide many people, including myself, with a good laugh once in a while.

If one thing i should be thanking you xD

Too bad you're so self-important though...

    Miss Galactic-centre ftw ! w00t

  • @SpacedNL

And what exactly are my problems? Do you even have the first clue what my life is?

And what exactly is the difference between me talking to youtube and everyone else on here?

  • @SpacedNL go play some more video games you fucking loser kid. i hope you die, along with your retarded family. ftw. woot. fucking faggot.

  • @SpacedNL WTF is ur problem? have some respect for her will you??

She now has vocal tics, and she went through so much in life.

what hard-ship have you went through? If you did go through something then try to give respect. If you never had much serious hardship then please dont be so ignorant and try to give at least enough respect to not say harsh things to other people.

Also are you sure YOU are not reffering to YOURSELF as being self-important?

she is simply saying what she wants.

  • @SpacedNL Anyone who says "ftw w00t!" after criticizing someone is clearly 1. an ass 2. a fail troll 3. an idiot, and so on. She's got courage to come on here and show herself. Where are you? Hiding behind your computer? Grow up kid. She's got real problems that obviously impact her daily life.

  • @idranktheseawater

    Im with melissa

SpacedNL...... stop hating go do it somewhere else

  • @SpacedNL go *** ur self

  • @SpacedNL omg i hope i dont find u or ill choke u to death. go away troll

  • @SpacedNL i hope you die a painful death cunt

  • @SpacedNL U r really jacked up! U should go in a hole and die urself! U going to h***!

    @idranktheseawater u r my full idol!! <3 u so much!

  • you're doctors a dumbass vocal tics are not an indicator of tourettes and only the lower tenth percentile have it its called copralalia you're doctor conformed to a stereo type you probably have tourettes i have and i dont make noises but its still tourette syndrome

  • seawater female...if you had the right make up and clothes, you could do a dynamite copy of CHER.

  • "If your standing behind me, your in trouble" :) hahaha, that made me laugh. I can definitely relate to that

  • Hey, I've had diff tics I can remember doing since I was 5 or 6. They used to change. About a year ago I finally went to see a neurologist to try to get some info (I'm now 22) and I was also diagnosed with chronic motor tics. Some of the tics that you showed I have had as well, but the two that have stuck with me, that I am fighting now are, "the half of a funky chicken" hahaha ;), and neck/head stretching. You seem like a sweet person. great video, thanks for making me laugh about MY tics haha!

  • its cool you put this up.. I was searching because I had spasims in my arms legs, and face.. Ive been on seriquel and other antipsycotics for a few years off and on.. I dont trust any doctors

  • you pretty. merry christms. ok, point: there are these people who sneak by. squeeze through paths that anyone who walks through same path will knock something over. people all getting along and not expecting anyone to take the narrow escape then seeing a person navigate away, i feel so driven to pop and hiss and curse to try to scare him into stopping the same way the others of us are stopped for fear of knocking over because of our loyalty to take up a natural amount of space to not be cramped.

  • if it helps any, i'd still do you :P

  • I really like you!

  • I like you :D

  • hey i just wanted to say that i was really happy to watch your videos because i also have MANY uncontrolable motor tics..ive had them since i was really little and now i am 21! ive always wished they could go away because theyre embarrassing and i feel alone sometimes because i never see anyone else with tics. it felt good to hear someone explain how it feels because i feel the same exact way........maybe one day there will be a cure for us!!

  • Whatever you think you are, you're an amazing, funny, inspiring human being. And I feel lucky that you are here making videos.

F^ck the haters, they're just attention seeking.

    xoxox

  • Does it cost money to go to the neurologist? If so, it's a waste of time and money and a scam.

  • @killerboyfoolz

It doesnt cost me money to go because I am in Canada.

I dont see how it can be a scam.

  • @idranktheseawater Tourettes syndrome is an unknown disorder. Doctors still do not know what causes it. If they don't know what causes it and don't know how to cure it then there's no point in spending money on something undiscovered. As for me, I'm trying to find a cure for my tourettes as well. So far I have gotten rid of my twitches, head shaking, hard breathing, coughing, and squeaking noises.

If you can help yourself to understand it then you do not need a neurologist.

  • @idranktheseawater this is a response for your question to killerboyfoolz, although i don't personally believe this is the case, a lot of people think that neurologists can easily scam people since how stuff tends to be sensitive and in some cases i guess sort of complicated, i think hes just sayin that one could easily trick their patient into believing they have some sort of mental illness (since the patient wouldn't have a 100% guarantee way to confirm other than what they think/feel)

  • why would u think somebody wanna see u twitch or know bout u twitchn ugly ass anorexic ass deformed bitch

  • @MrGRaFfiTibOi

because others have been through the same and are looking for information on it.

Talking like that only makes you look bad.

  • @idranktheseawater don't worry about him, he just found out that he's gay and is starting to hate women :)

  • I sound the same when I'm high.

  • you're not defective.....you're effective because you inspire me when i watch your self injury videos..thankyou :)

  • You make very good videos.

  • Tourettes? or not Tourettes? that is the question.

  • Hey, this was really well done. You're a great vlogger, as well as a video maker. I thought we were already yt friends, but I sent you a friend invite anyways because it said weren't on each others list. Anywho, the finger puppet thing was really funny! I am glad to hear that you are diagnosed (...or closer to a diagnosis maybe?). As someone that has Tourette's, yes I have a lot of noises and it seems you don't. Aw well, you're awesome anyhow! Keep up the good work in raising awareness =)

  • huh xD?

  • @esterrr7

I might explain if I knew what part the 'huh?" was for

  • lol!!!!! i love the puppets! you're awesome!

    xoxo

    -amanda

  • You looked beautiful in this video :]

  • MY best friend has a chronic tic disorder. she doesnt listen to me when i told her to go to the doctor..

  • haha finger puppets

  • why are all the cute girls crazy???

  • @twodollarforty

In reference to the finger puppets? - not crazy.... exentric

In reference to Tourette's? - Not crazy ..... movement disorder

  • @twodollarforty

    Ahahaha.. I know right?

  • I love you :$

Haha no. but you remind me alot about myself, in a strange way ..

    theheh.

  • congrats on getting diagnosed, and the finger puppets are hilarious. I hope they make an appearance in other videos ^^

if you emphasise the fact that at very severe times you do make some noise as well they might diagnoses TS instead; I know someone who did this who barely has vocal tics but thought a TS dx would be better than chronic motor tic disorder.

  • I'm confused, so tourettes is just your finger? : P

I'm glad you now know and stop saying your defective. That is NOT true!

  • @myhalo123

lol tourettes was one finger and Chronic tic disorder was the other.

The only difference between the 2 is that one makes noise.

    and thank you

  • @idranktheseawater I know that! Your fingers played both parts equally well. 2 thumbs up! Ha! Get it?!

  • @myhalo123

    lol

  • i love the little puppet show!!

    :)

omg!! i do the funky chicken tooooooo!!! bahahahaaa!!!

people are like, are you trying to fly?? im just like, umm nope...haha

anyways...do you have any facial tics??

  • @IsThisTourettes

I feel spasms in the lower part of my face, but they are small.

Oh yeah! I make like a scrunched up face. If that makes sense.

lol about the flying funky chicken

Sometimes people look at me funny for stomping, but I just let them think im weird.

  • you know what you are are extremely pretty woman

just relax and let go when you feel tension

  • I really liked your finger metaphor thing, lol. That explained kinda what it was and stuff. I hope your meds are making you feel better and that they don't have any unpleasant side-effects. And I hope you don't get too down, all of us are "defective" in some way.

  • I'm glad you finally have some answers! and one thing I'd like to say, you are gfar from defective! Your body just does more than it should, and we re all able to learn from the great person that you are! You are so inspiring! never give up! Thanks for everything you do!

  • So did you see a neurologist before? Or just a psychiatrist? I've been watching since your dyskinesia video. I'm surprised your psychiatrist didn't refer you before. They tried to slap me with a conversion disorder and I'm not accepting it. So I totally understood the frustration about not knowing because I still don't know what's wrong with me. Hope your medicine works and NO you're not "defective". You're an amazing, beautiful person. And many other people think that too! :)

  • @rebco77

I saw the neurologist 4 the fist time about a month n a half ago. Since the beginning Ive pretty much had 2 fight 4 tests to be done and to see a specialist, but my shrink didnt seem 2 see the urgency. She just said she didnt know what it was n that there r lots of conditions that no one knows what they are. She figured it was due 2 anxiety n wasnt dangerous. That nothing could b done. That frustrated me cuz I wanted to know what was going on.

(2 b continued in next comment)

  • @rebco77

I finally went 2 a different hospital n I was referred 2 the neurologist.Yay! Finally. I've considered the idea of a conversion disorder before and did lots of research. It's not a bad diagnosis. It's like when you get a headache from stress but in this case the symptoms are more severe.

One thing I've learned though is that doctors can make mistakes and get is all wrong.

    Did you see a neurologist?

  • @idranktheseawater

When this started 2 years ago I didn't have movement problems or co-ordination problems as bad as I do now. I had a heart condition called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. After 6 months of taking ativan to stop the muscle spasms, yes they hurt very bad when I go stiff, I started having severe co-ordination problems. Doctors misdiagnosed cuz one neuro-muscle doctor did not see me presenting. I seen 3 neuros. Annoying.

  • congratz on ur diagnosis ah?? must be a nice relief not havin to wonder all the time now. i was gona sey stay strong but looks like u alreadi got that covered ah?? . oh and ummmm yea.. mite wana try 'n' stay away from chairs with solid arm rests man, always gets us. take care and keep being u

  • Be glad you don't have tourettes. I watched a few videos on what they are and wow, some thigns that they do are really bad. I mean, shouting "Fuck off, you nigger" at people when they walk by. I feel bad for people with tourettes, because I know they don't mean anything, but that would be so embarrasing and hard to deal with.

  • @sassytay2014

Swearing and yelling obscenities only happens to 10 percent of those with tourettes. But yeah, that would be horrible.

  • @idranktheseawater

Oh, okay. I didn't know that.

  • Happy Tourettes Awareness Month (May 15 - June 15).

  • @JonahTorn

    Really? Interesting.

  • @idranktheseawater By the way, have your doctors heard of Mute Tourettes? It is true you that you need to actually be muted at least part of the time by the condition, but it is Tourettes, and shows you do not have to have vocal tics to get this accepted form of Tourettes!

  • "ha that made me feel better!" lol love the end :) im glad you finally got an answerr

  • Sounds like restless leg syndrome, although I know it's not the same. The pressure builds up and you have to move. I know it's not the same. Just saying.

  • @theitjourney

hmm....I've heard of restless leg syndrome before. It's amazing how many movement disorders there are.

  • @idranktheseawater RLS is common...I believe. I know I have it. It's annoying but it's not hard to live with. It's just...there.

  • You're an amazing person. XD You pulled out the finger smileys and I got really excited.

  • Hi Melissa, I'm glad that you aren't having a crisis after your appointment. Getting a diagnosis can be good in a way because you know what is wrong with you and what might help you. Being cured would be perfect but well, sometimes there isn't a cure and the only thing you can do is learn to live with it.

Do you know the movie "Phoebe in wonderland"? It's about a girl with OCD and Tourette's and so well done- although it didn't get the praise and prices it deserves. Might be interesting for you.

  • @crazymadonna

I was more in crisis after my first appointment with the neurologist a few months ago. He suggest a tic disorder, possibly tourettes. I was pretty down after that. That was the second and last time I ever cried over this.

It was confirmed this week, but at least I was prepared for what it could be.

I'm going to look up that movie. It sounds interesting. Thank you.

  • It's good to hear that you are ok about all this..in a way. I wish you all the best! And i know that this is random but I loved 'the idranktheseawater dance' ;)

    x.

  • You're in a good mood today. : )

    Loved the finger puppets thing.

And your hair is really pretty today.

Glad you got a diagnosis finally.

  • I love you, you're so adorable! This situation is a bummer, but you're not "defective". Happy you have answers and know what to expect. I wish you well.

  • It not being tourettes can kinda be a good thing... At least you wnt be screaming uncontrolably at random people! :D there's always a bright side. Wow that was wierd... I never look on the bright side... Enjoy!

  • @TKDrocks15

Yes! Im really glad I dont make noises! Very bright side.

  • I have chonic tic disorder/tourette's as well. I know how annoying it can be

when you can't control the tics...I've noticed that mine gets worse when I'm

stressed out.(like during math class, unfortionately).

But, regardless of having CTD, you're still a cool person with a great personality.

Sarah ps. Have a blessed Day

  • gorgeous-

  • Comment removed

  • don't be bummed or remorsed, you will be ok! Your a strong cookie and amazing =] just don't be to hard on yourself. I like that thing in your hair, it looked cute on you

  • @emo21babybawler

    Thank you

And the thing in my hair is some fake flowers. I have lots of different kinds and colors. ;)

  • Glad someone could put a face to your ailment. I agree with theannameyers when she said it's a part of you. We all have quirks that make us who we are whether they are physical or mental. I did like the finger puppets too. I do kind of know what it's like to get unwanted attention too. Hope you had a good day.

  • that was tragic with the smiley people! lol XD

  • Hey Melissa, I am glad you finally know whats going on. But don't be so hard on yiurself, your not damaged or defective, the Chronic Tic Disorder is just apart of you, it helps make who you are. I also have CTD and know how embarrassing it can be when people stare or make fun, but don't let them get to you, they just don't see who you are, but the people who love you see all of you and love all of you even the CTD

  • @TheAnnAmeyers

Thank you for saying that <3

  • There's nothing wrong with you! You're fantastic! We love you!

  • @Liar805

I think you are really sweet.

  • I know this is off subject but I really admire you. You are dealing so well with everything that is on your plate right now. That's something to be proud of. Also, this video made me laugh. Finger puppets. <3

Anyway, thank you for your inspiration. Watching your videos always makes me stop and think before I just let go and cut or whatever. Thank you for being such an awesome person and good luck with your new medication! :)

  • @allybadally

Thank you so much for saying so. That's nice to hear when Im dealing with a lot. ;)

I'm glad it made you laugh and that others helped keep you safe.

  • Those finger people are cool , :) Made me smile :)

  • your funny "once I punched my self in the face" "funky Chicken" Will I am happy you can make this out to be funny and still help others your a great person

  • hihi you are soo funny ^^ thx a lot. and you look really pretty in this top and with the flower in your hair. well i guess it is a flower, i couldn't see it so good.

you seem to handle this diagnose pretty well. let's hope you are one of the 50% in which the med helps you. at least a bit. but i think so, cause your a fighter and so is your body :)

  • now when ever somebody puts there finger to there mouth to *shhh* me - ill just be thinking of the mute finger puppet ^_^

  • Well, at least it's not Huntington's! Or something much worse. I guess that;s good?

  • @thelostdreamer

    Yes, that's really good!

  • These little finger puppets made me laugh so much xD and your face, you stay serious all the time, this is so funny. ANd I'm glad to see, that you can actually make fun of your tics, even it is nothing to laugh about. Hope you're well !

  • You're not a freak and you sure as hell aren't defective! You're a wonderful person who has made my life better since I found your videos! :)

  • It's cool how you can laugh about things like that. I'm dying and rolling laughing. Sometimes laughing can be good therapy. I heard it can add years to your life.

  • And if you were defective our world wouldn't exist because we need everyone to make up this thing caled life and everyone has there purpose everyone is unique for a reason so if you were truely defective nothing would exist you are exactly who and how you for a great reason and everyone including you should be glad your here cause without you and your uniqueness the puzzle would never be complete

  • Your not in any way defective because everyone is defective which means there is no such thing as defective. Just like if u have a million broken computers and you say I don't like this one this one has something wrong with it. But in truth it's not wrong it's normal

  • @siriuslymessedup

Wow, that really helped me thank you.

Im glad you were able to laugh. ;)

  • I'm so glad that you found a diagnosis! I really like your hair like that it looks nice. (^_^) I also like your little finger faces :)

  • What kind of meds are you taking for it? o.o

  • @OmfgJJsikBITCH

for the Tics Im taking Clonidine (otherwise known as parapres)

  • Heh. (: I like the ending of this video. ;p

well, it's cool that you know what you have now.

Hopefully you can get a cure soon!

    Xoxo

  • haha. This video made my day. I'm fascinated by this tic disorder, I wonder what happens internally, with the brain & coordination/movements. You've had this for a year and a half? You're dealing with it amazingly.

  • That finger thing with Tourettes at the beginning made my night. I was having a bad one. Thanks for that!

  • your little finger thing made me lol. glad you can keep a sense of humor about all this. hope you find some relief from it all.

    have a good one

    voices

  • Uhhhh i just cut myself today :S I just want freaking see my doctor ... I want be on a strong drug or something that i can't feel my fu***** pain :( My mother is drunk now and she insult me all the time tonight .... DAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH F*** MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!! :S

My mother have insult me all the day today too :S I feel very bad and i cut myself each day :S Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Anyway .... sorry for my bad english

  • how do you feel about relationships within your life? Have you had successful relationships (that last long periods of time or not) or has relationships in your life been more elusive?

  • @composer63

I have a few friendships that have lasted my lifetime

If you mean intimate relationships, Im overly cautious about that and it's hard to get into one at all.

  • @idranktheseawater aw. Your so smokin hot you try to keep it exclusive. That way you can raise it's value, and charge more. I once knew a girl who did that; her name was jessy jane (the porn star). Just kidding.

I learn a lot from your videos. I Myself haven't had much luck with intimate RS's . That said, you and I are much that same, so if you have any advice to give in terms of intimate RS (or any kind for that matter) I'm all ears.

  • Thanks for your note. I just found this bit of info. Treatment depends on how bad the tics are and how the condition affects you. Medicines and psychotherapy are used only when the tics have a major impact on daily activities, such as school and job performance. Drugs used to treat tics include dopamine blockers, such as pimozide and risperidone. However, these drugs are not always successful and can cause side effects. and brain stimulation using permanently implanted electrodes.

  • LOL this isn't an insult or anything, but were you high?

  • @YoutudesOwner

    LOL....no....I'm naturally intoxicated.

I've been having bad days. I think that makes my brain mushier, but that's cool. I like that kind of mushy.

  • @YoutudesOwner No, she's naturally eccentric. Right, Melissa? lol.

  • @imaginaryxx58

    Ooooh, yes! Eccentric. ;)

  • @Metalwarmachine91

    lol good idea

    Im going places now!

  • Hey, I'm glad you finally got a diagnosis. i hope that you feel better and I hope your meds work. I like the Tic fingers, haha. and I love your videos!!!

  • Seems I read somewhere that there are a few various meds for tics. Maybe lithium? Not sure. Hope the med you are taking gives relief.

    Take care,

    Tom

  • @tommax26

yeah, but many of them give awful side effects. The one im trying is the safest. Called Catapres or Clonidine.

  • i'm glad you finally got a diagnosis, i'm sure its a relief! you have such a great attitude, its natural/normal to have low points! i have multiple chronic illnesses and i know it really sucks sometimes, but it does make you stronger in the long run, i believe. hope you're doing well : )

  • stay strong hunny. <3
