Nice scooter bro! I just brought a Roketa 08 maui scooter, I would like to put a little work into it to give me more house power. I'm thinking about buying a Big bore kit, I found one for 49,99, My question to you is, was it a hard job to install the uprear from 50 to 72cc? and About how long did it take you to install the bigger bore? also, other then installing a big bore kit, do you recommend any other upgrades?

@BlackLabel7345 Cool, I got the same scooter myself. only in blue. not much in the mod department, just a racing CDI and modded the clutch, and a port and polish job I did myself. Gets up to about 60mph. Thinking of making a new header pipe soon.

1. When you first get it and every 500 miles after that

2. About 80-90

3. about 30-35, about 45-50 with the 72cc kit

4. Just do your research. It also depends on the factory that put it together. My Roketa never gave me any problems. You can get one on ebay for about 600 shipped to your door, another 150 on a kit from enviromoto(google it) and you will have a nice scoot

@vautaw12345 yeah idk why people give china scoots so much shit. i mean they are cheaply built, but if you have a wrench its all easy fixes, and besides you are not paying over $800 for a brand new scoot so you should not expect a piaggo lol. the 72cc kit is worth every penny though, makes the scoot a lot more fun to ride. Dont go with the 80cc though, unless you are expeting a total rebuild in 400 miles(the stock crank and bearings cant handle a load of a 80cc umph

4T 49cc converted to a 72cc overbore. Stock would go about 35-40mph. After mods id get 45-50 with better acceleration and better hillspeed.

@BlackLabel7345 i have not changed mine yet. i just bought it and it now has 300+ miles. i took a gps with me and got it up to 53 mph. 47 without drafting. where did you get the kit. i hope it makes mine faster. while gps read 53 the spedometer was buried. i really want bore kit, but am more interested in making the moped actually go faster
