Dude thanks alot for the tips and advise, I'm just barely starting to pinstripe and man oh man you make it look ALOT easier than it realy is lol thanks again man your keeping a dying art living
This is a fantastic vid. Thank you so much for sharing it. I heard an artist say something years ago that really stuck. He said something to the effect of: The mark of a good artist is not how few the errors are; it is how he fixes the errors. GREAT JOB! I'm headed to the shop to play with my swords now.
Thanks for bringing up the direction of the brush for us left-handers.. The training I got always said the flat part always faces the left which would mean always faces the right for southpaws
Damn striping is harder than it looks! I've just began trying to learn how to stripe and from my efforts thus far it seems nearly impossible compared to airbrushing! Thanks so much for this great video!
He's using a Mac 000 brush. They do require oil to preserve them. I don't personally know a lot about it, so I can't answer very many questions. You guys will just have to take what he gave you on this one!! I will say that if you stripe under the clear coat you might use the House of Kolor brand of striping enamel and make sure the oil is out of the brush, and the enamel is completely dry before you stripe.
@BerserkCustomPaint as i've understood it helps keep the brush and bristles in good condition (yea they're natural hair, i think most Mack brushes are squirrel hair), but i had a guy tell me once that it's great too because if you don't get all the paint out of your brush the motor oil will keep it from drying and messing anything up
thanks for the help

The little "mistakes" are what make pinstriping kool. It shows that a person did it and not some lame sticker. Thanks for the tips, man.
