  • Wtf was that

  • @subtledriver felpro? Wow, I heard some many people mention that felpros wont hold up to anywhere near what you are pushing. This is vid would be great evidence for those forum queens. Is that a XM intake mani? If so did you have any blemishes/flaws from their castings? The first one that they sent me had some major flaws on the lower runner mounts so now waiting for then to send me a replacement. Also is that a q45 tb?

  • @bargamento

If you're tuning sucks or you are getting detonation you will blow any head gasket. But a stock head gasket is a weak point that is cheaper than blowing pistons...

the xm mani was ok for me, but maybe you got unlucky. I don't remember what tb it had, i think it was running a stock one... but you might be right, prolly a q45.

  • ....and what type coils you running?

  • @bargamento I think those coils were from a land rover...

  • Awesome pull. If you dont mind me asking, which piston, rods and gasket are you using? BTW that air to water is fuckin pimp!

  • @bargamento Eagle rods, cp pistons, stock felpro gasket.

  • I love and have both engines in different cars. but the ka24Det haves alot of potential. I've seen high numbers just by putting a turbo with stock internals, lasting as long as you keep the boost levels down.

  • ka are ok there more torquey cz of the longer stroke and bore size but don't rev up as fast or as high and the head doesn't flow as good. for my kind of driving which is road racing/drifting i prefer a sr20 especially with a neo vvl head swap which is pretty nasty but if i wanted to build a drag 4 cylinder or highway car id prob build a ka plus sr's sound way better which is always a bonus

  • @1jzdrift1 You don't need to rev high or fast with the ka because it makes more torque. the reason you must rev high on an sr is because its smaller and needs the extra revs to make power. How can an sr sound better? that is a matter of opinion. Who told you the ka has a bad flowing head? What engine are you running in your car? How many sr's and ka's have you built? I prefer torque to hold a drift and deliver power at any time in any gear at even lower rpms. Thanks for the post!

  • looks like your car came at the end....

  • why do ppl think sr20's are better... ka24det puts out way more power to the wheel than a sr20.. sr20's are only good for drifting.. ill take a ka24 over a sr20 anyday..

  • @reminiz1 because they are better for a turbo speaking stock for stock. You would have to build the ka for boost for it to be as reliable as an sr20 which is made for boost with 8:1 compression from factory so its an easier route to take, plus u can show numbers just as easily the same as the ka.. They are both nissan engines so what does it matter you can make anything fast and push serious numbers its all your preferance.

  • @s7slipknot7s The ka is better for turbo since it has higher compression and makes more power with less boost. I have personally seen my stock ka24de with stock obdii cams make 350hp and 450 tq to the wheels at just 22 psi. ran it at 30 plus psi drag racing and autocross and street for 2 years with no loss of compression. it's a strong engine... i don't hate sr's just all the talking.... sr20 is a good engine. just tired of crap talk. I'm running a vh45de sr20 is weak sauce. ;p

  • @reminiz1 lol, any engine is good for drifting as long as you prep it to prevent oil starvation. a bad driver can't do anything in any car.

  • why would he go with a smaller engine that costs more and produces less power?

  • @sdclubracing exactly people just dont understand nananananana go sr20 because thats what everyone else does nanananananan KA24DET FTW

  • Dude how much money you spend on that ka, you should just gone with an sr20 lol

  • @Waizu91 i hate dumb people, get informed before you write stupid shit

  • head lift did u reuse the stock head studs cus they are only ment for 1 time use

  • I think he was using 11mm ARP, But now he is using L19 11mm.

He just broke 710hp to the wheels tonight!

  • What head studs are you using I'm on L19 11mm studs and don't have a problem

  • are u using the intake manifold plenum from Xcessive Manufacturing??

  • go jason sdcr love +1

so im guessing head lift means streched head studs and blown gasket? idk im a noob.

    either way BAD ASS setup

  • @brandonpejsa some heads survive a few lifts... but not more than once... lol once those bolts stretch... its over...

blown headgasket would of been plenty of steamy looking smoke in the dyno room

  • So I noticed all your posting the same message on all the e-mance videos. I'm not surprised he won't help you. Judging from what you are writing, seems like you're very rude and difficult to deal with. If you're tune is not the problem, would you bother to say anything nice on all his posts? I doubt it.

  • @subtledriver nice kouki dude...

check out my videos of mine... and dont worry about the haters, let them hate and write their stupid shit...

i tell all of them, to feel free to hate on me... hahaha

The owner of E-mance has been through some hard times in the last few months, please be patent and try again later.
