There are 2 well known film versions of Little Women that TCM airs.The one posted here is from 1933. Back in 1987,I met Joan Bennett at a Dark Shadows Festival. This film had only recently been released on VHS. I told Ms. Bennett about it and how delighted I was to meet her.

Ms. Bennett gave me a radiant smile and said" Really? I was having one of my babies when I made that film!".

I was surprised to hear that as I had not known that. She was truly a delightful person and a great talent.

First of all, i'm sorry but i don't speak german so i've used babelfish and it's not that great. So, thanks for your comment, yes I have the movie with susan sarandon and wynona ryder but on VHS and i personnaly prefer the one with katharine hepburn ^^

en fait ndinounette je l'ai achetée sur internet :D donc pas de souci pour toi ! par contre il faut mettre ton lecteur dvd en zone 1, sur le pc c possible mais tu ne peux faire que 4 changements de zone donc il vaut mieux prévoir le coup ! ce sera en VO mais il y a des sous titres en français tkt !

I've never seen any movie version of LW, but I've read the novel numerous times. Kate Hepburn is closer to the description of Jo IMO than Winona Ryder. It's weird seeing Fritz without a beard.
