and people say its spooky... theres nothing at that bridge.. it just a lot of stuff where "KKK" wrote racism stuff.. and the people who worship the devil wrote things too.. i must say i was scared at first..but now its nothing.you just gotta watch out for the deers,bears and snakes... other than that aint nothing wrong with it
this bridge aint just a bridge.. so much stuff happen on this bridge. with that said.. the "KKK" use to be back there on the same road.. nd people that worship the devil was back there.. this man body was found back there.. and 7 people was drowned in that river..
I tried to visit this place tonight, but cops were parked at the dead end and not letting anyone through, so I assume it is indeed private property. I had planned to stay the night or a few hours just to see what went on.
Do you know the name of the bridge you get to through... Damn it's called like Blue Bell Rd of something? (It's watched and hard to get to.) That place is scary in comparision to this bridge...
It is at night and especially on weekends. Neighboring families have no problem with people walking around quietly on the bridge during the day, but they're not too fond of trouble makers during the night hours (who would be?). People aren't supposed to trespass; however, the property isn't entirely private property. Coming in from the Lowndes side is more dangerous but less likley to bother locals. It's best to get permission to visit the area first.
Well, braves15, I'll have to admit that I don't know everything there is to know about the bridge. I've heard a lot of rumors. Some of them seem true. If you're out in a spooky place at night, you're likely to see stuff whether it's real or not. I've seen stuff at/near Spook Bridge - I won't lie - but I don't know if it was real or not (how does one determine that?). I do believe people have gotten physically ill from this place, but their nerves do that to them; not a supernatural power.
In between Valdosta and Quitman. One bridge entrance is on the Lowndes side and the other entrance is on the Quitman (cook county?) side.
Turn left on Ousley rd off of HWY 84 if you're leaving Valdosta headed towards Quitman. Then, take an immediate right on the first available paved road. Drive until the road isn't paved and there will be an entrance. It's about a mile's walk until the first bridge (or at least it feels that long).
It takes a special person to appreciate the Spook Bridge tradition, even more so to make videos about it.
I currently have the latest in the Spook Bridge saga undergoing post-production at the moment. However, you are cordially invited to collaborate our combined efforts for the next tale of Spook Bridge. It will be a journey into the woes and triumph of the human spirit. A tell-all insight into the joys of the heart and the trials and tribulations that go along with it. It is Spook Bridge.

@Trumpetplayer28
It's from the movie Twilight and it's called Bella's Lullaby. Once you learn and play it, video it and send me the link! I'd love to watch it. :)
