I think we can consider their problems and look for other possibilities to coexistence and cooperation eventually leading to real pressure on "rouge" states and dealing with them and our own problems of gov betrayal together and united internationally avoiding WW3 or probable human extinction. any other reasonable arguments to take a chance on that? i'm all ears.

@architect333 My main principle is to simply support the victim. help them through their struggle. Matter of principle. The victims in Iraq were the Iraqi public, who had lived under 30 years of fascism and genocide, then when their 'leader' was toppled, mr Zarqawi and his gang turned up to make a bad situation worse. Now they have a free country, free elections, a free press. Freedom always, always comes at a cost.

@architect333 Finally, I will try to sum up our positions. We would both agree that the victims of Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan are the general public. We differ in that I think we should help them (If globalisation happens, then internationalism follows), and you think we should not. I know I am in a minority, but I am not afraid to stick with my principles, even if sometimes that does mean being on the same side as George Bush. Your politics is that of status quo and isolationism.

@finchy633 if you summed it up and think i don't want to help poor people, then whats your explanation on us support of Palestine oppression for over 40 years while "minorities" (meaning the world against u.s alone Vito's at UN for peace) who really fight for "principles". Sure lets help but together, world leaders are well aware of us hegemony as main objectives not peace, why do you think nations don't jump into your so called "freedom at a price". It's not justifiable in the eyes of the weak!

It's easy to tell someone else to sacrifice, but its up to them to ask for it, not you. you obviously have no clue what happened in Iraq with Saddam and his oppression, this is history repeating itself again, your contemporary views are convinced of freedom via propaganda, world leaders are not, as u.s lies mean nothing to you, don't you seem particularly suspicious considering the massacres that have to take place only to provide puppet gov along with continuous sanctions to oppress the poor.

If the last 60 years of American foreign policy should be ignored as you suggest, and focused on the mask of good intentions of world "police" to gain support of world leaders, which is now at an all time low due to the obvious facts you ignore over the years. I mean what good has America done after ww2? it got rich off oppression of poor countries, how you think it managed that? full power is corruption and that was the beneficial aftermath u.s found itself in. the rest is history.

You wont believe a nation who did good in ww2 in the beginning could possibly have corrupt agendas! but look at history, its written all over it, its where we get "when good men do nothing, evil prevails". Germany was the model of modern society until a monkey came along and everyone followed his propaganda. its hard to learn from history,most are uneducated, but if lies are exposed to help us out, take that opportunity, and perhaps improve on history itself!

Explain why Iraqis want u.s out after being liberated by the previously installed puppet. Iraqis remember cause they had to live it. All these problems now and world recognition is not what bush wanted. but good people around the world came together and now u.s is forced to fix the situation at a huge cost to themselves. America is falling apart economically, good thing it secured its newly found wealth. At the expense of destroying a nation. your right freedom may come at a price, how ironic!
