I was born this year. I thought Star Wars was the best thing about 1977, boy was I mistaken. This choon is off the scale. So progressive for it's time...
@MrMrMr001 Its not everyday you get to thank artists that inspire you... Im gonna grab this opportunity to do so.... Thank you Mr. Mason, I truly appreciate your work.. Love & light.
Ive never heard of James Mason before... Every tune is just incredible. Full of substance, impecable rhythm, nice colors, and trance like sadness that strangely makes you wanna embrace life... Thanks for the upload...
@MrMrMr001 Thought it was too good to be true, your art is a timeless reminder of how good and great things were and still could be if we would only take the time to listen. Thank you.

@MrMrMr001 Mr Mason. I wish you could have visited the London clubs back in the early 80's. You would have been moved to tears watching us all tearing up the dancefloor whenever this track came on. Sweet power is definitely the best known track from your album......But this track was the track for the dancers.....The same ones who practised for hours in the bedrooms....honing their skills for the challenge which they would actively seek out, come the weekend. in a word 'Brilliant!'
I just happened to stumble on this song (and glad I did!). I would've been 16/17 years old when this was released back in '77 and I want to know -- how come I never heard of this cat until now????? I'm really feelin' this funk!
@jamespunani Do you know anything about the Free Masons? I don't know much about them myself, but I do know that our forefathers who started this country were Free Masons which means that they've been around a long time. Supposedly, they're part of some "New World Order" or something like that where the whole country and world will change and be united under some universal law of the universe. It sounds complicated but you might want to research it yourself before ragging on them.
@HolyRoller478 dude, you think Having a micro chip or tattoo printed on your forehead is cool? The new world order has been a plan that goes back to babylonian times. To make a long story short Satan wants to gather up the whole world against Israel(by using a 1 world religion nd 1 wrld gov). America will fail economically within the next year all because the U.S citizens back Israel. If you go to Europe (where I am now) You will see alot of anti semitism almost like in the days of Hitler.
@jamespunani That is true. According to the Bible the Revived Roman Empire in Europe will be complete as well as the rise of the Antichrist World leader Satan's Counterfeit World Messiah.
I'd rather listen to "James Mason - Free" than to those who are controlled by Free Masons... lol get it?
Awesome vibe good song!
