  • mmh Hey guys

  • Go Australia :)

  • hrm uk rules

  • 757-200is a very sportive Plane,.

i had a nice ride on D-ABNF CONDOR.

very impressing performance on take off

  • Wonder what speed he was doing...

  • Wonder what speed he was doing?

  • scheiße geil

  • That takes guts.

  • Now that would be a ride...LOL...

  • Plane is from the New Zealand air force if anyones wondering.

  • The only words in my mind was "WHAT THE FUCK!!!"

  • OMFG WHY DIDNT IT STALL?

  • That dude is MOVING. Holy shit.

  • Damn… at least if he crashes his big-ass balls of steel would serve as effective airbags.

  • She sounds like a table saw

  • HURRR I'M A PLANE!!

  • Hey guys, I'm an armchair aviation expert on youtube and I have been one for the past 21 years of my life. Thanks to my detailed investigation, I can conclude that this aircraft is a Boeing 757 with Rolls Royce engines belonging to the NZ airforce.

Damn, look at how good I am!

  • I think someone forgot to tell those fighter pilots that they were flying a 757

  • sounded like something out star wars

  • That would have spilled my coke and nuts!!

  • I like to sit in the tail cone and feel my stomach fly!

  • Kinda sounds like a prop plane

  • Imagine being on the toilet and you pee right in your mouth :(

  • @royalsteven I'm Bear Grylls, and I'm buying a ticket on this plane!

  • Hah :D

  • what you dont realise is that at that moment, refreshments were being served..

  • This jet produces more thrust than she weighs.., thus.., VERTICAL!!! Awesome

  • @sasmis Wrong..........

  • PUUUULLLL UUUUPPP

  • won;t it stall?

  • For some reason, it sounds like an A-10 ThunderBolt?

  • HOLY SANTA CLAUS SHIT!

  • Cool, im on a 757!.....Wow were getting faster......why are we so low.........*violent and explosive diarhea begins*

  • FUUUUUUCK THAT! I get freaked out with normal takeoffs!

  • Do you thing he has the "Fasten Seatbelts" light on?

  • everything rolls royce has to sound cool.

  • mach 2.0?

  • Love the 757 like a freaking hot rod.

  • I wonder if the Captain is still a Captain, just wondering......

  • Wish I was along for the ride!

  • love the wing flex

  • These guys have balls of iron!

  • ....should have gone for the flip XD

  • I always knew the old seven-five was badass. Look at that sleek, sexy shape. And the noise, oh! the noise.

  • all you dumbass youtube aviation experts are only one step away from being on CNN....

    keep it up idiots.

  • @beergut111 and your a fucking wanker

  • @exie19 well....no one really cares what you think. maybe you shouldnt post anymore, it just makes you look ignorant.

  • @beergut111 you need to respect what people like to do, where as your hobby is drinking beer and getting fat you cunt

  • @exie19 nice language kid.....grow up. I dont have time for your stupid comments. Ive forgotten more about aviation then you'll ever know. Drop the shitty attitude and id be glad to educate you.

    your apology will be accepted.

  • @beergut111 Did someone say anything bothered u? i dont see anyone tryna be an expert here.. just people who like airplanes and flying... weirdo

  • @ffuuuucccckk not at all.....im the only expert on here, so I must bother them by disputing their expert facts....hahaha

  • damn i never saw a commercial plane like that move that fast before and fly that low

  • Gotta love that sound,,look at her climb!!!!

  • Better than any roller coaster.

  • beautiful sound. like a screamin angel

  • fuuuuuuuck that

  • holy f my in the a... :O

  • that was serious vertical angle may be 80 degrees?

  • this is a military AC,,, no fuckin passengers,,, hhhahahahahha,,, fuckin civilians aint deserve this.... hahahahahahahah

  • @PersianEagle5000 lmfao Agreed

  • shows you what passenger jets are capable of?

  • Wish this video went on a bit longer to see how far that plane went upward...

  • @MrRudy10101 lol; nah, they'd push out to a lower climb angle well before the stall speed. They weren't vertical. As someone else said, they were around 70-75 degrees...

It was a very steep climb, but clearly WELL within the aircrafts limits.

  • No vertical flight fom what I saw! Maybe 75 degrees maybe.Whoopdeedoo anyways

  • how fast was that going

  • "This is your Captain speaking, right now the runway looks clear, so we're going to do a high speed low pass then go into a steep vertical climb. If you have any loose items on the floor, please stow those away now. After we've reached cruising altitude you can enjoy refreshments served by the flight attendants."

  • whats even funnier, they failed to tell the 256 passengers on board before they done that manuver.

  • That is completely awesome!

  • this captein have the right balls, im sad that he had to leave his company..But im sure, Airbus, or Boing is happy to get the fingers bin him...

  • @lekaw

    Airbus or BOING? Oh, man!

    ;-P

  • can i just remind people that this was an airshow so it aint that amazing ...

  • @hazza19664 no its not an airshow its the 75th squadron anniversary! see the wing of the Hercules there, im one of the guys sitting on top of it

  • BANKANGLE

  • @Postbus22 ??? You're talking about the wrong plain of manouver mate. I think you mean pitch... not bank!

  • @TheMostFamousChannel - No offense, but you're a fucking idiot.

  • @TheMostFamousChannel - did you happen to notice in the description, where it indicates that this jet is equipped with two Rolls-Royce engines? When's the last time you saw a Rolls-Royce with a propeller? OR did you think there was a car strapped under each wing?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMostFamousChannel im not sure if your jokin or not, there called jet engines man.

  • hlot crap thats wat i call a pilote

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! I'd be cryin' like a BIITCH!

  • @redneckalex08 me two LOL :)

  • My question is where has TheMostFamousChannel live and for how long?!?! The outback his entire life!?!

  • @TheMostFamousChannel What? Propellers? It's 2010!

  • @dalilrafi hahaha u got trolled

  • @spongah oooh^^ i thought that someone could be that stupid. Hmm thanks

  • @dalilrafi the internet is an increasingly strange place

  • @spongah you're so right^^

  • I watched a Cessna Citation II go vertical once. It can be done.

  • AIR SHOW!

  • That's how takeoffs were out of San Antonio International.

  • the engines WILL NOT flame out at 1g. If that was the case, no 757 would every leave the ground.

anyways I would imagine that they are safe up to something like 4-6g

  • The sound is awesome with those RR engines!

  • That is vertical.. go to an air show in New Zealand..

  • it was not vertical. That was a decent climb probably pushing the limits but the engines would actually likely tear the wings or them selves off from the weight or even break the plane in half....

  • rolls royce engines? beast!

  • Cant go vertical? I guess I am confused. What does G load have to do with it? Wouldn't a drastic change in relative wind cause a flame out? And would it not stall with that kind of sudden change in relative wind? Please explain.

  • put a gau on the nose and pylons for some air to air missles and you got yourself a fighter jet

  • @qunniq Put the term "747-sp" into Google and check out the first couple of websites.

  • Thats almost a Space Shuttle type of liftoff...lol! I love how the engines sound

  • that is pwnage. The engines are amazingly powerful, imagine if that stalled.

  • quantis pilots fly like this every day

  • SEXY!!1

  • Cool vid. Just outta curiosity... Is it a GE powered aircraft?

  • yes i do believe it now :)

  • why do they do fly bys

  • ...and without sounding like a 'spotter'. These things on approach are bloody awesome. The wake turbulence is one of the largest for a medium sized a/c. Many's the time I've been out walkin when the big Grey Bird was on approach to Ohakea and for a full half minute afterwards thevortices were going for it! Would be wikked to have a smoke stream handy to visualize it!

  • That was actually a 'sedately' paced pull-up at Whenuapai compared to the one they did here at Ohakea. That had everyone going...Ohh SH1T!"

  • What other airliner do you know that can do aerobatics?

  • go rnzaf

  • @TheChodenocker There was one even better than this at Ohakea. But for real shit-ripper performances, Undies' last flight of the Skyhawk. His lo-level, full-noise beat up was below the control tower...that's with the a/c wing-up from straight-and-level.

  • Dude was pickin' 'em up and puttin' 'em down...nice.

  • Arrr the unmistakable sound of the rolls-royce rb211

  • oh man why the hell did you not show it till the end, i would have loved to see how the pilot got out of that climb.

  • How did he recover from that vertical?

  • @nousername21 Simple. They weren't vertical.

  • Go the kiwi's :D

  • love that sound

  • @ThisWeekInFascism SHUT DA HELL UP!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Not since 9/11. Was quiet before though.

  • stuff like this is exactly why im going to school to be an a&p... haha

  • The pilot flies ALMOST as well as Hani Hanjour [who couldn't fly a cessna].

    Google:

Hani Hanjour: 9/11 Pilot Extraordinaire From the ridiculous to the sublime...

  • "Federal Aviation Administration records show [Hanjour] obtained a commercial pilot's license in April 1999, but how and where he did so remains a lingering question that FAA officials refuse to discuss. His limited flying abilities do afford an insight into one feature of the attacks: The conspiracy apparently did not include a surplus of skilled pilots." [Cape Cod Times]

  • "[Flight Academy] Staff members characterized Mr. Hanjour as polite, meek and very quiet. But most of all, the former employee said, they considered him a very bad pilot. "I'm still to this day amazed that he could have flown into the Pentagon," the former employee said. "He could not fly at all." [New York Times]

  • wish the airlines flew them like that! 757 + RR = one amazing aircraft

  • have to say that 757 vertical was very impressive.

  • Sounds like engines are at full thrust then followed by an alpha max maneuvre

  • and this plane landed safely?

  • nice flyby

  • WOW!

  • this would be a good superbowl comerical for rolls royce aircraft engines

  • i would have craped my pants if i was in that plane

  • ahah i read your comment and after i saw this video i was imagining you were sitting in that plane, it sounds stupid now but i pissed myself hard:P

  • @MrBassiej ... haha its all good... im almost positive that every one that commented/watched this video woulda at least pee'd a little if they were on that plane..

  • @joey053187 i did just watchin it JKJK

  • @joey053187 Yea, christ, I'm afraid to fly in them when they are in normal flight. I probably would have shit my pants, and then shit the persons pants next to me as well, lol.

  • @joey053187 rofl

  • @joey053187 Yeah, but then the centrifugal force would of sent it right back up your ass.

  • Comment removed

  • @YesYou123333 - Not to flame or mess up the rhythm of your witty repartee, but you do know that there is no centrifugal force exerted in a vertical climb, right? Centrifugal force is exerted outward from a center of rotation. That doesn't apply until the jet rolls out of the climb. Let me guess: You skipped physics and opted for wood-shop, right?

  • that sounds like a ww2 bomber lol :P

  • amazing video, i would be shitting it if i ever heard them engines that close though

  • WOW !!!

  • Those Rolls-Royce engines are sweet!!

  • One of the dreams that I have had for as long as I can remeber is to fly in a plane like that. Thank you for the video.

  • exellent sound

  • Wouldn't it stall?

  • A plane will not stall as long as the speed is kept above stall speed. The plane can go vertical or almost vertical and still produce lift. Once your speed decreases and gets closer to stall speed (which would eventually happen to this aircraft), you have to pull out of the climb. Just FYI, the Boeing 757 has one of the highest, if not THE highest thrust to weight ratio of any airliner.

  • It's the Ferrari of airliners.

  • Ah, thanks, that explained it.

  • that's "kinda" right. It isnt the speed that creates the stall. It the angle of attack. A plane can stall well above its stall speed. Stall speed is based on maintaining altitude. So a plane will stall at certain angle of attack which, for example is 120 kts. That 120 is the speed at which the angle of attack is exceeded. So a "stall" really dont have anything to do with speed. U can fly a plane well below stall speed provided you dont try and maintain alt. Hope this helps

  • @beergut111 Bugger! Pity I didn't look 2 lines down below Philg380's comment before I'd replied. I'd have seen you do a much better descriptive than mine. ?=)

  • @PhilG380 You should really clarrify that statement with reference to relative airflow. In a dead-stick stall, you might have heaps of forward speed, but the relative airflow with regards to your angle of attack is bugger all, especially when it goes turbulent.

  • so where does it go vertical? or is part of the video clip missing?

  • at the end

  • hmmmm....weird. cause that is pretty far from vertical. You must have a smaller monitor than me.

  • no offence , its either that or you really arent looking hard enough its really clear from 20 it starts going up to a very steep vertical climb. dont knoe abt your computer

  • its a step climb but it isnt vertical. thats about 40 degrees up.

75's cant go vertical cause engines would flame out with at least 1g on them.

  • its almost vertical thats the point , wats wit u

  • @beergut111 1g is one force of gravity so 100 lbs at 1g is 100 lbs.

  • @TheGarrettDressler yes thats exactly what i said. any questions?

  • @beergut111 that doesnt make any sense, "gs" are measurments of gravitational force which means 1 g is normal. you have 1 g on you right now sitting at your computer. i'd say this plane pulled about 3-3.5gs maybe even a bit more.

  • @tsw915 you dont understand. that aint the problem. if it went vertical it would, at some point have to level off. that would incur negative g's and the motors would flame out.

I dont have enough space here to explain it all to you. but the point is this plane isnt going vertical as the title suggests. its just an attempt to gain viewers.

  • @beergut111 They don't have to flame out if the fuel system maintains positive pressure, right?
