I marchwed in Bel air in 78-79 we moved from Nor Cal, the drum line was called B.A.D. Bel Air Drummers I tried brining drum corp to that school back in 79 Mr Paz told me "that will never fly in Bel Air or El Paso LOL,... many years later

ahaha you can hate on Bel Air all you want, but we'll always be a thorn in everybody's side like we ALWAYS have been. Watch these next few years, haha ohh this si gonna be fun. and I like how you have to take shots at the directors appearances, I'm sure your not a looker yourself brother (; ohh my names raul castaneda by the way. not the older one, I graduated 2010.

@LXAutep42 First I never said that I hated them If I did hated them then why did I video them. I did say that I was a little dissapointed on how they performed. This band I have always like to go and watch them perform I dont have anything against the band now the director I cant realy say that much because I dont know him or her.

this crumbling band needs a responsible leader like scanlon not the chimp-like creature pretending to know what the hell he is talking about. And while you are at it, make sure the rest of the faculty assistant directors wear shorts that COVER their sagging old butts.

since the band director has such a dick attitude and thinks his plans and ideas are genius AND gives power to 17 and hormone cocky 18 year-olds that decide to bully the underclassmen, not as a joke but seriously offend and insult not only them but their family as well, then this is what you get.

Bel Air band has declined a lot, but our 3 of our 5 directors left and were replaced by a completely new style, attitude, and work ethic. It's hard to get used to, but we'll get better :)...i hope XD

Wow I was in the Bel Air band from 2004-2007, and I'm amazed how bad Bel Air has become. Its really sad to watch.

You're not the only who thinks that way but other x Bel Air band and student members have told me the same thing. Even though I did not graduated from Bel Air but from Coronado this has always been one of favorite bands to watch

I agree it is an amazing show and not alot of bands do this show becuase it's difficulty and even if the bands do make mistakes its still a good show.

Hmm what i've noticed is the new bands in terms of how many years their band is; are stepping up such as Americas, and El dorado high school. There doing a superior job. El dorado stepped it up A LOT ,compared to last year. Bel air deserved a one in UIL,not a two. Much respect to Coronado's marching band; in my opinion your the best band El paso has. (:

I agree with that some new and older school are getting better. I did not see Americas this but I will see El Dorado's band this friday.

i totally agree with you seeyou414 hanks bel air americas has always been good but bel air to have a show like that? i meen i know el paso doesnt have powerhouse bands but they do have potiential and they do have great fine art teachers maybe its the students will to learn and play the wonderful music.

Frist just to let you know Iam not from Bel Air but iam an ex (T-Bird) Coronado graduate. Yes they did make alot of mistakes that is why they dont look or even sound so good because of certain people. But at least they try and I realy was expecting a very good show like I have for many years.
