Honest to God I really feel like the MAJORITY of issues in the black community are stemmed from racism/discrimination towards bm. BM are the protectors, providers, lovers, fathers, etc. When bm stumbled bw had no choice but to follow suit. Our men must feel like and be treated as men but since the day we stepped foot into this country they have not been treated like men. They have been treated like animals and idiots. Psychological issues run deep in the black community.

@seanreid7 No one should come home to negativity but that is reality. Women come home to negativity too after encountering racism and sexism daily. Nor should anyone have to come home to a partner that is unsupportive or unrealistically demanding. It really seems like the majority of the issues all stem from not putting in a real effort to support and understand the other sex. If it were easy everyone would have it! Gotta recognize that and not meet fire with fire. Love and understanding.

@bisman85 FYI the woman in the 1950's where not happy and that era had its problems too. A few men beat on there woman, and the woman could not leave because she had no source of income. No one would give her a job so she could support herself and her children. There were no laws to protect some women from there own husbands...thus the women's movement.

Out of all the races everyone knows that bw don't play and have really bad attitudes. I know bw can agree with me on this one. What I get from it is that some bw like the thug type for sex and a thrill, but the studious good marriage type guy is used for money lol. "Bad things always happen to good people." This isn't rocket science! It's a proven fact that most black men don't have educations or anything going for themselves and when a black woman does, they aren't going to be compatible. Why would they lower their standards? They will find themselves alone with a bunch of kids as in most cases (of course running right down to the child support offices and collecting child support).

I think black women dont have the BM's back some of the time. It seems in this conversation that the BM are putting forth the attitude of "the right BM will do anything for you" and all the BW come back with is "you still didnt do something." BW need to know that a relationship is an equation and if there is an imbalance, the equation will not work. It should never be BW>BM but it should be BM + BW = LOVE. Some BM and BW have made it work. Idk how the rest cant figure it out too.
