meth3288 - I have the 16XEL in Astra F - but my revs is about 6500, how I may unlocked revs? I have another ECU to 16XEL for test but i must unlock immo ;)

@Kisiel888 actually .. it is very interesting how you mange to make launch control on your astra but ask me about revs :) ...

anyway ... the car's ECU had been MAPed , and the rev limiter was set @ 7.200 rpms ... before the map , the engine was running with a chip , that I bought from a .. forum friend with raised rev limiter :) ... it is that simple .. / program module -> chip -> set the rev limiter higher /c16xe/x16xe/x16xel/ mat 7.500 .. higher is too ... dangerous ;)

@meth3288 Thank You for reply ;) I think that, the best simply things for me will be swap engine for 2.0 150hp from GSI;) The best time in acceleration 0-100 on mantzel i reached in 7,6second ;) You Have engine 16XE and this is 110hp? My XEL have cylinder head from engine 1.4 16V and reach 101hp - on opel forums people reach in this engine about 125hp and tune ecu with piggy, change exhaust and cold air, ported cylinder head - cost equal to buy 2.0 16V gsi:)

@Kisiel888 yes.engine swap is cheaper and easier,if!the new engine is in good shape ..

everyone can make an engine swap to gain power ... but that's not what tuning is all about :)

how much did the engine tuning costs? have u done some maping to the computer to ?

@KonfusedMind the tuning costs ... when the video was made ... 200+euro for the mantzel copie that I made myself .. the 57mm straight pipe , made to fit the curves 40euro .. 50euro ECU chip ... but that is the old setup ..
