this is probably my favorite part of the movie, where lizzy finally realizes that she's been absolutely blind and is inlove with mr. darcy.. it's an absolute masterpiece. thank you Jane Austen for giving us lizzy and mr. Darcy.

(and the part where there was a statue of achilles killing himself? awesome touch. i would but that sculpture.)

sounds like you really love the book and the movie! ^^ may i ask if you've ever read "Mr. Darcy's Diary"?! it's not from Jane Austen, of course! but from Amanda Grave who's a professional at writing novels from old times. i just finished reading it and i really love it! she took all original dialogs in the book so it's really easy to believe it! i was able to hear Darcy's voice all the time reading it and it was a grateful pleasure to hear the story from his point! =)

First time I saw this movie was when I was an eleven year old and I was sorting out my nans film collection for her. I stumbled across this one and I am sorry to say I kind of......nicked it. Lol. I went home and watched it in secret and I loved it SO much that I found my mums Pride & Prejudice book and read it all the way through. From then on I have loved this film to bits.

"Only a little." This is, in the story, where Lizzie says she begins to feel an affection for him. I think it's because she realizes there is another life, another side, of Darcy that she did not know of, and she realizes, she does not know him at all. But she wishes to. (: Lovely, lovely story, with a lovely, lovely soundtrack.

Thought I might put my thoughts in too. I've hard my fair share of the Twilight obsession (I was a hardcore fan during Jan and May last year) but it's worn off. I hardly like it anymore. But Jane Austen and those other timeless classics, they will never go out of fashion.

Jane Austen's stories are in a whole other and better league than twilight. The two shouldn't even be compared. The twilight obsession will die out eventually, but jane austen's books are timeless.
