I think that they might stop makeing more if the Guilty Gear 2 Overtune goes down hill. That is what I think anyway.
As for BlazBlue, I have heard somewehere that it might be a sequal to the Guilty Gear series, with all new characters and plot. But that has yet to be confirmed since its only a rumor.
This is kind of "similar" to hit-anywhere codes found in CodeBreaker, although that was for the orginal GGXX. Where the code itself lets you hit your opponent anywhere and kinda lets you cancel a lot of stuff into each other.
But in this video he was doing Normal Supers in conjunction with the EX ones. And IIRC the Hit-anywhere code causes the game to crash if you try to grab you enemy ( 6/4HS ) But in this video I've seen grabs and 6/4HSes so I don't believe it is a code or hit-anywhere code.

If that were true, I'd like to see codes that show how to do such a thing as he's done. I have Action Replay and no such codes exist for it, I also have Codebreaker, again, no codes. Try again.
You go to the Action Replay Central forums, they have tutorials on how to find and make codes for the GCN games, and the same process works with PS2 games.
And DON'T you "or it never happened" me, you people should know by now that I always speak the truth, and that you should search for those answers yourselves.
