As I write, I lost my job because of my stupidity and was rejected by my job to be because of my struggle. I became sick yesterday because of it all. last night, my aunt and nephew were abducted. no updates as yet about them. praying for their safe return and God's miracle to work in the hearts of their abductors. whoever planned the abduction, God still forgives and works in amazing way!!

Domodeath: I don't want to argue or anything, but what you said is circumstantial. I've had plenty of severe problems in my short life that God had nothing to do with - more problems that are enough for 10 people's lifespans put together. Yet those problems were caused not by me, nor by God, but by stupid, selfish, thoughtless, inconsiderate (& abusive) people who were not following God's heart, but were seeking only after their own selfish gain.

@FireThunderTV: Consider Job and the things that people 'not following God's heart' did to his family. Ponder who is tempting and pushing those selfish people to do the things they do...then ponder who allows that being to tempt and to push. Though humans make choices, all things pass before the Lord, He is sovereign even when we don't understand.

bereanjourneymen: Uwant2know what I think? That God is not sadistic&He gives men free will 2do what they want, & He will not interfere in their free will. So if people do bad things to another person, God had nothing to do with it, becuz that would mean God is full of sin, hatred, maliciousness, abuse, lies &that He's a thief...everything that God says He hates in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 & Proverbs 6:16-19. So I don't think it is possible 4God to contradict His nature just to fulfill some plan for me.

I don't know what that means, but I'm guessing that's Hawaiian for "thank you so much"? ....and you're welcome. I don't know what else to say. God gave me this verse a few years ago when I was going through some extremely difficult times. Psalm 138:8 - "The Lord will perfect that which concerns me: your mercy, O Lord, endures for ever: forsake not the works of your own hands." I consider it my life verse now. Don't lose hope.
