I'm a Naples Native (yes, we still exist), and while its clean place to live, and there's something to do... its not cheep. Not to live here that is. And Living here for 20 and not being able to tan, I get tired of the beach. Oh and the night life really stinks, sidewalks practically roll up at 8pm... and unless you're a beach lover just looking to relax and see some nature-walk sort of stuff you'd be better off going to Tampa or Miami. (Oh, shopping is acceptable! can be pricey though.)
I think Naples is perfect, i know im going to get some complaints about this, but thats my opinion. I live in UK where 80% of the time its raining, and everywhere is dirty, but naples on the other hand, clean, relaxing, sunny, (cheap), everything anyone could ever want, some people say they dont go because of huricanes, this is stupid, if huricanes are that bad how the hell do you think people have settled down there with so little damage, im happy to awnser questions about this coment!
Not many... the smart ones more away. lol.....Trust me, I should know... I'm a 20year old Naples native. (Why am I still here?) Unless you're going to a pig roast, pool hall, or the beach, there's nothing to do for the 20-25 age group anyway. (Nightlife is basically 0)
I have a home in naples that i fly down to a few times a month. Its a great place to relax and realize how lucky we are. Naples sure keeps me going. Great vid
If i may make a suggestion a friend of myn takes an airline called use3000 its about 100 bucks per person. They fly into ft myers/ if you have no car you can rent hope this helps
I lived in Fort Myers/ Naples for two years, and now I'm back in a huge city- Chicago. I've lived in NY & Los Angeles, too. Went onto YouTube to vicariously "live" in Naples again for a minute. What I DO miss is its utter tranquility, particularly at night w/ the beach & stars. That I will ALWAYS miss. It was a little too laid back for me to spend the rest of my life there, but it was a beautiful place nonetheless. I have many fond memories of it. You can really get in touch w/ your soul there.
