  • dont forget to do your clutch. i did mine in my 700 and it made a huge difference in the bottom end power

  • have the rims scratched alot?

  • @midwesternoutdoors No scratches yet, but it has only been driven in the snow so far!

  • is it good on gas and is it comfortable? and how often do you have to chane the oil and have you had any problems with your grizzly??

  • @midwesternoutdoors Pretty good on gas and very comfortable! Haven't had any problems and it depends on how much and how you use it, but maybe a couple of times a year for the oil change. I have only changed the oil once so far since August.

  • i have 27" on my 450 and i go enney were in mud and snow i love them and want to go to 28 i had 26" mud bugs and was saprised in the difrentce in performance of the 27" and the zillas are so light im my opinoun there the best tire in the mud without going a super agresuve tire as long as you go tall

  • @TheBradybrooks1993 Good to know the 450 handles it ok. I was pretty impressed with the Zillas this past weekend in the deep snow. Worked really good!

  • hey I need some help I dont know what four wheeler to get im stuck between the yamaha grizzly 700 ( one in the video) or a honda rincon I want a four wheeler thats going to last doesnt have problems fast and durable Could you give me some tips on what one to get?

  • @midwesternoutdoors Well, I am sure both of those would be good atv's. I have nothing against the honda's as we still have two older ones that are very tough. However, we went with the grizzly because of the power steering, locking front differential and simpler transmission. The grizzly doesn't really stand out in any particular area, but is pretty good all around with a smooth ride. We haven't had any issues and just love it. Hope that helps.

  • @cubbeezx thanks it helped im prob going to get a grizzly

  • @midwesternoutdoors Cool! You will have to post up some videos when you do.

  • I sent you a PM about this video!!

  • she looks like a beast now. Let me know if you lift the front tires in high range. I also have a new 700 and put 27" on her. Can only lift it in low range.

  • @mikren705 Well, there isn't any traction available now with the snow, but I don't think she will come up in high like it used to. Might have to try some clutch mods or something.

  • when you going put some ss rims on the Kodiak :-)

  • @snowcatns lol! I don't know! It came with the fancy stock rims so that should be good enough, shouldn't it? lol I am just hoping that with these tires and rims, that I don't need to be winched out as much from the Kodiak!! hahaha

  • @snowcatns I have a 2001 Kodiak 400 and going to try Mud Lites on it. Not sure if it will handle it, but I have 4 27x9x12 s . Should help the ground clearence but hopefully be able to haul it with the stock clutch lol

  • @snowcatns That should turn that thing into a little tank!

  • did you notice any change in the amount of power avaliable when you went to bigger and heavier tires? i ask cuz i need new tires on my old honda 350 and on my old yamy moto4 225 and i dont want to "overtire " the old beasties

  • @brett1966sherwood Actually, just came back from my first "test" ride! Definitely a bit of power loss on the bottom end in high range! There seems to be a few different clutch mods to counter this, will have to look into it further! We went up 1 inch wider and taller with mudlites on our old trx350 like yours. You notice a little bit of power loss, but not too bad at all. Much better grip than the stockers and rides just as good...all 4 inches of travel that is! lol

  • Wow, that is a monster now! my advice is to go ram something now and get that first ding in your wheels over with. That way you can relax and not have to worry about it. I swear, I do this with all my cars and it works haha.

  • @Ebannmobile Lol! Now that sounds like a good idea. It's going to happen sooner or later anyways! hahaha May as well get it out of the way.

  • Nice tires awsome we have some ITP mud tires on are 450, also bear my dog is also truning 4 years old today, keep up the vids!!!
